Nope. It was only when I had it on the capture screen that it showed its true colours.

The shiny magikarp's are 1 in 4000 chance. Annoyingly I've just evolved all mine for the Garydos so knowing my lucky ill catch or hatch a shiny very soon.

Nothing. It's a bit of a con. In the original games they came with 100% IVs. Now it's just another reason for people to buy extra storage.

I got about 6 kabuto's spawn in 5 minutes the other day alongside that snail fossil thing and 5 magikarp's bouncing around

Also managed a Toadadile last night, still waiting on a Lapras, Snorlax and aerodactyl though

Spotted a Blastiose on the radar on my lunchtime stroll, so took a detour.

Because of the event I now have enough to evolve one from a Squirtle, but haven't, and have been searching for a high IV one to evolve.

Just before I got the Pokestop my 2 km egg hatched into a Squirtle, and I caught another 3 before the Blastoise appeared. Who I managed to get on the third time of rasp berry, Ultraball, Great and Curveball.

So now I have 2 High IV Squirtles, a low IV Blastoise, and 219 candy. With the water event, it doesn't rain, it pours!

This morning I finally walked off the 70km to get the last 14 candies I needed to evolve my Pineco into a Forretress.

Anyone want to guess what I got out of the fking 10km egg that hatched 600m later???

I am so delighted to now have another Pineco and 30 candies to supplement my Forretress!

Missed the start of the event as I was pretty much off grid at the weekend, but nabbed the thick end of 100 Magikarp candies in the last day or so and now, finally, have a CP 2100-ish Gyarados. Don't think it's got a particularly good moveset though, having Dragon Tail & Outrage.

Also picked up enough to evolve Omastar and there's some weird giraffe thing that is spawning all over the place.

Not seen a Pidgey all day. Hope they're all OK...

Still getting used to the more vibrant Magikarp, Gyarados colouring too.

That happened to me when walking Grimer.
Good weekend for me as I caught a Lapras and walked final candy to evolve Togetic and complete Gen 1.

I still need a whole bunch to complete Gen 1 - Machamp, Muk, Farfetch'd, Chansey, Kangaskhan, Tauros and Dragonite.

Also, why do we get the utterly pathetic Mr Kiddyfondler as the Europe only Pokemon when everywhere else gets big, hard looking Pokemon?

And that's why you don't walk crap pokemon! Only Larvitar, Chansey, Snorlax etc.
