Here too. I caught a Houndour last night, but other than that, it is Rattata, Nidoran, blah blah.

Hmm, plenty of the common gen 2 around here as well as a few of the slightly less common ones like Skarmory. Haven't seen a new gen 2 in the wild for a few days but that's probably because I'm well on the downward slope of the bell curve for discovery, having caught or seen about 70% of them.

Big uptick in a few gen 1 pokemon though, Shellders, Drowzees and Krabbys.

He's one of the three "starters" of Gen 2. Equivalent to Charmander. And a bit flighty, yep.

There really isn't much about near where I work or live currently. frown

Tauros is the one you want to look out for in the US. Region specific so you can't catch it in the UK. They get a raging bull; we get the kiddy-fiddling Mr Mime.

Although I was chatting to someone playing Pokemon Go who showed me loads of Tauros on his game saying he had caught them at a TexMex restaurant on the grounds that it was a notional part of the US for this purpose. I was understandably sceptical but I know the place he means and I keep meaning to have a trip over there to check it out just to be sure ... biggrin

There could've been one in a gym you visited.

So, is Incense a massive waste of time, or am I doing it wrong?

(Walking with it, catch each one that it generates.)

That is, I imagine, what happened.
But it's still a non English Pokemon.. is it feasible that a Yankee came over and left it in a gym that I visited?

Yeah, something like that. My son's mate managed to get one on a recent trip to New York.

We're going on holiday to Singapore later in the year. My son is hoping to bring back a Far Fetch'd which will no doubt soon be in one of our local gyms upon our return.

If you use a PTC account you probably could, it's easy to sign into another device. If you're using Google then it might be more of a faff. But more importantly you could get banned if you're seen to be around London and Aus at the same time so you have to be coordinated!

Dammit, haven't seen a 2km egg in yonks and have none left, just the 10km that's currently on the boil and the rest are 5's!

So from 9pm UK time today, to 9pm UK time on Wed 20th:

- More stuff in 2km eggs, including more candy in the eggs.
- Double XP, and half price Lucky Eggs.

I need a couple more gyms then to get the 8 eggs for 250 coins...

Seems a reasonable but not superb event...

I reckon it will only count for eggs you get from stops after the event has started.

Which sucks. I need to clear all my eggs and not do any poke stops until the event starts.
