Especially on the buddy candy. Ages ago we buddied up with dragonair when we had 7 candies. Have walked him for 319km and now on 86.5 candies.

67km to go, or 17km under quadruple candy event.

There'll be a very happy 9 yo after school today!

Yeah, Currently on 74 Totodile candy with my Crocanaw and 262.9km "walked". Started with 3 candy.

Better than the recent grass event I suppose. The extra buddy candy should see my Blissey reach its max CP and I should think I'll be able to get Steelix and Kabutops from this, assuming a reasonable distribution of Onix and Kabuto.

Looks like some mild CP adjustment too, sure I saw the order of my Pokemon shift.

Opinions please on whether you like being able to catch evolved versions of Pokemon, or whether you'd prefer that wasn't possible and you'd prefer to have to catch base ones and save candies??

Had it in mind that we'd be able to catch enough slugma's this week to reach the magcargo... Halfway around the dog walk and a magcargo appeared.

My boy took a while to understand why I felt a bit cheated and that I'd missed out on the gradual build up to getting all the candies! (Yes I could have left it, but I'm not that daft!!)

I walked a Geo-Dude a few weeks ago, in order to "finish him off", and had 3 x 2km eggs hatch into them whilst walking one. It can't be coincidence, can it?

I have an overwhelming desire to finish Gen 1. I have 96 Dratini Candies and am walking him, and have 32 Grimer candies, so might do him next. All I'll need after that is a Hitmonchan. (And region specific / legendary. I don't count them.)

Tempted to walk Dratini as much as the event allows anyway, and power up the resulting Dragonite.

Trying to find a Tyrogue that evolves into the 3rd evolution option has so far proved impossible for me.
Always comes out as Hitmonlee or Hitmonchan..

If Attack is higher than other stats, Tyrogue evolves into Hitmonlee
If Defence is higher than other stats, Tyrogue evolves into Hitmonchan
If Stamina / HP is higher than other stats, Tyrogue evolves into Hitmontop

So far I've only had Hitmonlees and Hitmonchans too.

Just caught a wild Dragonite.

He's a bit st, but I love him.

I'm level 30 and still don't have a Dragonite - I've only ever seen a handful of Dratini.

I would actually make a special effort and go out of my way to catch a Dragonite if I knew where one was spawning. I'm always amazed how many really powered up Dragonites there seem to be.

Still, on the positive side, with the current special event, I finally have enough Kabuto candy to evolve a Kabutops. And last night I caught a nearly maxed Kabuto (CP 979) with 90% IV so should give me a near 2200 CP Kabutops.

Yeah i'd read about this but still no joy.. not even seen one..

Quite enjoying the reduced rate for walking with buddies though, managed a few evolves of hard to find animals to fill in some gaps in the dex.

Not convinced they have been involved though, as the buggers are rare anyway.

I've caught a lot of Rhyhorns and Slugmas though. Both useful for the catch bonus medals, but little else.

Rhydon is amazing at taking out Blissey
