^^ handy little reference for you in working out whether or not to power up pokemon. If they're nowhere near their theoretical max CP there's little point in using up stardust to raise their CP.

IIRC a game has never been as successful as this game. How many games have you seen made 50m+ people get up and outside, meet with friends etc? It's none. This is only going to get bigger and bigger.

Definitely feel they're going to have to expand some of the features of this if it's going to be a long term thing.
Having some feature of the game you can "play" that doesn't require you to leave the house seems like a must, especially once the great British winter kicks in. Pokemon hunting ain't going to be any fun at all then...

What happens if you have 9 eggs, does it prevent you from getting more? If so, is there a way to get rid of eggs in the hope of getting a 10km one
The 40 min walk today was quality over quantity, i only get 4 1 of which was a hatched 189cp rhyhorn and caught a 218cp (my highest so far) jinx which took about 10 attempts to catch, even spinning the balls.
I did take over a gym by beating a 318cp kakuna with my 218 jynx but it did swap to my rhyhorn at one point during the battle but lost the gym again within 5 mins

Ok thanks, i had 6 eggs then walked for 40 mins and had 9! Where i walk there are a load of stops, must have got about 20 or so today so i am not short of items, just pokemonI have decided to use my infinite incubator for all the 2k eggs as so i can use my second incubator that i found for all the 10k eggs so it doesn't destroy itself so quickly

It seems that most of my friends are cheating at this now.
They have a computer application that logs them in and walks round in a 10 mile circle catching pokemon and getting pokestops.
A friend left it on all night and is now level 24 (from 0 he started a new account the same night) after evolving all the pokemon it caught with a lucky egg hatched.
Meanwhile im on still on Lvl 9 becuase im playing properly and am a lazy git and dont want to walk anywhere

Accounts have been banned for this, hopefully it's not long until your friends are banned too They have a computer application that logs them in and walks round in a 10 mile circle catching pokemon and getting pokestops.
