I can also confirm programmes such as FakeGPS works on my spare android tablet I had in a draw, with my spare account and would you believe, I visited Times Square, Big Ben, and a few other landmarks in the space of an hour. Obviously I would do this on my iphone/main account as I would want to risk all the effort I have put into it already.

I work at a railway station and the gym is located here.
I've already seen 2 people wearing Pokemon clothing.

Two of my work colleagues are playing Pokemon Go. At the start of the week I was "WTF is Pokemon Go?". When one of my colleagues explained, I Senor Chang'ed him.

This morning I witnessed a middle-aged man on my commute, nearly walk into the barriers because he was starring intently at Pokemon Go! One of my colleagues kept rushing to the front of our work-place to catch a pokemon. Moments ago, I casually wandered outside for some fresh air for a few minutes. Upon my return, my fiancee asked me whether I had been catching animals, and then laughed at me.

I cannot even finish character creation due to server issues!

I might go for an early morning jog in Victoria Park tomorrow [East London] before work ...

Update: just caught Bulbasaur sitting at home! Now to visit a Pokestop!

The game is pretty annoying and I can't see the enjoyment in it?
I think I may delete it tomorrow. Have to take the dog for a walk in an hour so will see if it grows on me as I am out the house.

Great just what I need, another addictive game.

I'll wait until it comes out in the UK proper. I can cover a lot of distance slowly in the car when I'm teaching students moving off & stopping. We trundle in 1st & 2nd for hours sometimes.

I'm assuming that none of the posters are real world adults. With hair on their bits and a deep voice and everything?

And council tax, and billls and jobs. And a wife?

And this that and the other and st. Bruv.

Ffs.

You do realise the real world is out there and wants its adults back?

Strange post. Why does it bother you what others do?

I'm inclined to agree with him...

I mean obviously, I don't actually care either way, but this is a kids game, isn't it? Why are adults charging about the place trying to collect video game animals on a phone?

Each to their own and all that, but surely adulthood opens the doors to slightly better sports/games?

I just find it strange someone would comment. If someone puts a car up in readers cars and I don't like the car, I don't automatically feel the need to tell them. Same here, you don't get it/like it why comment?

Curiosity? Boredom?

For me, it's curiosity around the fact that I've seen mention of this game everywhere, to the point that it seems like it's become a bit of a craze. I think of new crazes as something kids follow so I'm fascinated that adults are running around, endangering themselves and others (I've read loads of stories over the last few days of people doing mental things) to play this game.

What's the appeal? I don't see it at all, yet obviously there's something to it...thus, I'm interested.

Ok I walked the dog a good 1.5 miles. Caught about 5 Pokemon all very boring Polemon most interesting being Cloyster.
Level 4 I am at the moment.
It is certainly a weird game.
Main target is to go somewhere popular I assume, click nearby Pokemon and then try and find where the Pokemon is by walking around randomly until the paw prints go from 3 to 0 and then hope that is is close to you.

I'll get to level 5 and see if attacking a gym makes the game more interesting but right now wandering around aimlessly walking the dog with my phone in my hand having my battery drain significantly isn't very fun.

It isn't gripping me like Clash of Clans did which is the only phone game to ever have me hooked.
