Haven't got the faintest idea how to do this, I spent about 5 minutes on the drift track on the small loop getting the hang of it in 2nd gear, max score about 2,500 points. I don't get it, do i have to go faster?
A few pointers:- Spa
- Manual gear change and three pedals
- Ferrari 312
- Hot lapping
Okay then. I've double checked what is available on consoles / isn't in the DLC and I've gone for:
Lotus Evora GTE
Nurburgring GP
None

I'm hoping the Evora's more balanced handling with help those using controllers get into this a little more. I've also given it an extra week since we are half way through the week.
I'll update this post properly once I am back home and have a few minutes spare.

I'm finding this combo quite tricky, I haven't used the same line twice through the final chicane and there are a couple downhill braking zones which are tough with no ABS. Tintops aren't my cup of tea but these challenges make me try new stuff which is fun; I didn't even know there was a drifting sub-game until last week.
It's much harder than what I thought it would be. Car seems to be inconsistent through the braking zone and it doesn't seem to like to downshift when I want. I think I need to trying tweaking the setup to get the tyres more evenly heated.Starting to understand the car a little more now. Certainly smooth controls are what needed rather than the man-handling the Ferrari wanted in the first challenge. Slight improvement for my time for tonight.

And I'm going to dig up that blooming final chicane with a JCB.
nightmare isn't it?! I don't think I've discovered the answer but getting the front tyres straight as you hit it certainly helps with the stability.Found this video on YouTube - it's not the same car but has similar braking points to the Lotus. They're definitely taking some different lines that what I am, especially in turn 3, so I'll have to try them out when I get some time tomorrow.

Tricky one, I'd be interested to know if those on a wheel struggle on turn in? I find a lot of the Lotus in AC feel very lazy but I'm not sure that's a byproduct of the compromises a controller presents or that's just how they are? I always feel like I want to pit on a touch more lock but can't.

The front end of the GTE seems to be none existent for me until it's had a couple of laps warmup, even then it seems remarkably lazy for such a car.
There's not much you can do other than wait for the tyres. I tried reducing the grip at the rear to bring the front end round, but the 458 and Evora are both quite snappy which may be realistic for mid-engined cars I guess. Or you can reduce the wheel rotation a bit, doesn't improve the grip but makes it feel more responsive. I think the Evora handles ok but I'm not feeling the weight transfer somehow, it feels quite flat. Could use some brake bias adjustment too.
