Are we still required to run with 30l of fuel?
No, do as you please. Nice time Joe!
I did a few laps on Sunday but couldn't even get in the 2:19:XX again. I'm going to look into some setup changes tonight to see if I can get the front end to feel a little sharper mid turn.
This car / track combo isn't what I thought it would be. The Evora feels almost slow around this track and the brakes seem poor but I think that's just because the Ferrari 458 in challenge 1 was so sharp.
So with less than a week to go before this challenge is up I don't know if we should decide on a way of selecting the next combo?
My first thought was that we could have the person who finishes in fourth of fifth in the table pick the next combo but that may cause a delay for others if they aren't able to post on the same day.
Another idea was to combine a selection of 4/5 combos to make a championship. The combo would change each week and points would be allocated to the finish positions. The championships could vary so one would be tin-tops, next open cars, another GTs. We could also just do a 1 car / 5 tracks combo and/or 1 track / 5 cars combo. Basically what is happening now but you'd know in advance what the next combo is.
The other idea is to just simply have a discussion here and come up with what to do. The only problem here is that everyone has different likes and dislikes so there might not be a clear winner.
Any thoughts and ideas are welcome.

JoeMk1 - any setup changes for that time? That's very impressive. I reckon I could get high 2:18s with a perfect lap but doubt I'd get close to a 2:18.0
Nope, completely standard. Traction is the key here, it feels like an open diff. Any wheelspin on corner exits will have you losing time all along the next straight. I saved the replay, I'll see if I ca upload it later. I think that lap was fairly untidy, a 2:17.5 should be possible.Rank | PH Name | RSR Name | Car | Track | Settings | Time | S1 | S2 | S3 | Platform |

Brilliant. Not sure if that fills me with hope or despair though! With RSR I can't figure out why my laps aren't being counted as 'pro'. All my settings are the same as they suggest... I must be missing something but can't put my finger on it. It was fine for Silverstone...

Like a bat out of hell I must try without TC, looks to really bog the car down in corners, cheeky final chicane though

Same on the server, I think because it's a practice session rather than hotlaps?JoeMk1 said:

I've set up a server for us to try.
Great! I can definitely get on Thursday evening if it is still up and running then.ash73 said:
p.s. the server is set up to loop between 2 hour practice sessions and a short race. I tried setting up one continuous session to retain everyone's times but of course the time of day advances so it could be the middle of the night! When you join check the countdown timer, if it's running down use the vote buttons to restart or advance the session.
Do we have night in AC now? AVV EM said:

There is a morning to evening transition but I don't believe there is night racing... yet. This and rain would be a great addition but I remember Kunos stating that 'no one wanted rain' because everyone wanted to drive flat out. I hope he has changed his mind with the popularity of the game because I love rain races.

Rain would be fun however I'd imagine fairly intensive on the computers running the game? This and rain would be a great addition but I remember Kunos stating that 'no one wanted rain' because everyone wanted to drive flat out.
