Nordschleife Tourist (all versions) is part of dream pack 1 DLC - http://store.steampowered.com/app/347990/

No idea how the consoles handle the DLC.

Ah, that's interesting.

It came as standard on the PS4 so I assumed it was part of the base game. Were the console releases pre-loaded with all prior DLC?

That is very weird. It's not mentioned in any of the PS4 DLC:

https://store.playstation.com/#!/en-gb/games/asset...

However, as it appears to be PC DLC, there needs to be a contingency for people who may not have it. As the challenge has started it would be unfair to change it now.
I assume you all have a version of the Nordschliefe in you game copies? If so, you could manually time from bridge to gantry, starting your acceleration at the gap in the barrier that denotes the usual tourist entrance. Timing could be by pausing and noting the lap time as you pass under bridge and gantry, then adding/subtracting from lap total times.
It's not perfect I know, but I do apologise as I did not realise some standard console content (or is it? assuming we get to the bottom of Papa John's mystery) was PC DLC.

I have it.

Is there a Ps4 network equivalent to checking file integrity for missing or corrupt files?

Just bought this on PS4 as it's in the PS Store sale for 15.99 at the moment. Look forward to having a go later and posting some (terrible) times smile

Porsche DLC packs look very tempting too!

Buy the season pass!!

It costs only slightly more than one DLC pack but entitles you to ALL the packs released so far!

Thanks.. Looks like it's 24.99 on PS4 store and 5.79 each for the individual packs but I guess if there's more content to come it will be worth it.

Not sure about future DLC, but it already gives you porsche 1,2 and 3, red pack (ferrari and maserati), prestige pack, japanese pack and performance pack

On the PC, the previous challenges with the Escort RS1600 (Pack 3), Brands Hatch (Pack 3),Lamborghini Huracan GT3 (Pack 2) were all extra DLC.

Fair do,

it's the principle really, the DLC cost as much as the game,

To be fair though the game is ludicrously underpriced when you consider the work that had gone and does go into it and the size of the consumer base for such a niche product as an accurate racing sim. I also think that the DLC is reasonable when you consider the work that miust go into the cars, and of course the tracks also, being laser scanned. On that note, for anyone interested, this month's 'Race Car Engineering' has a feature on RFactor Pro and they talk about the track creation process.

Caved in and bought Porsche Packs 1 & 3 last night (nice to be able to drive a 911R).. The game seems great but the handling is very different to most driving games out there.. it's going to take me a while to get used to it.. Is it worth tweaking the PS4 pad settings?

Also worth taking in to account that it costs Kunos for the licence to add these tracks and manufacturers, I can't imagine Porsche was cheap...

The quality has been excellent as well, happy to pay a reasonable amount for quality additions.

You're basically missing half the game, then.

Also PS4/Xbox users - Nurburgring Tourist IS in the normal version of the game, but only under 'Practice'. You can't 'Hotlap' it.
