I finished Bloodborne (PS4) at the weekend which was a surprise. Didn't know I was close to the end but guess I have been playing it sporadically for about 6 months!

So, now I need to replace it and am debating which game should be next. I love the Demon / Dark shouls games so DS3 is definitely on the list. But they do tend to be quite hard work and I'm not sure I want to jump from Bloodborne into another 100+ hour epic.

I like the Uncharted games, although they are a tad linear - so Uncharted 4 is probably top of my list for the next game with DS3 after that.

However, I am also tempted by Life is Strange - I played Heavy Rain on PS3 and really loved it - it was like an interactive film and really quite addictive.

Opinions?

I've got both DS3 and Uncharted 4 and was also a big Bloodbourn fan. DS3 is much harder than Bloodbourn but also not as gripping as IMO. I gave up half way through but will probably go back at some point. Uncharted 4 is very cinematic, it;s almost like your playing a movie and isn't that challenging.

If you like your racing games then I picked up F1 2016 this weekend. Its by far the best F1 game I've ever played. Would highly recommend it!

Skyrim I played on PS3 and really enjoyed. Is the PS4 version the same thing rehashed or something new?

Fallout I had on PS3 and just didn't gel with it.

Racing games are tempting - I like them in theory but never seem to play them for any length of time. I bought something on the PS4 - can't even remember what! - and a steering wheel but it's probably been used less than an hour.

Same but with all DLC included as I understand it. Obviously mucho improved graphics etc!

Fallout is a game basically Post Apocalyptic Skyrim!

If you haven't already; I suggest the following:

Alien: Isolation
The Witcher 3
Shadow of Mordor

All games that have been out for 12 months, but are very good and on the 'must play' list. The added bonus is that they are all reasonably cheap and can be bought with all the DLC.

Ah, good point.

Witcher 3 I have - played it for quite a while but lost interest. However, alien isolation I also have and played it enough to see it was interesting but not really enough to get into it. Might try that again and give it a property go!

Mafia 3 is coming out in a week or so,

Life is Strange is great too - if you havent played it you must, it is relatively inexpensive as a filler for deciding what to really get into next

I played the demo of Life is Strange before and now it seems episode 1 is free. So going to try that - and if I like it the other episodes are only £3.99 each so some fairly light hearted entertainment for a few weeks.

No, it's not that! It'll be a few intense days of surprisingly late nights...

Definitely this. Also be aware that the first episode is a very slow burner...things don't really start to get going until act 2. But when they do...yeah, intense just about starts to cover it.

i'm working my way through mad max which is ok - its not the best or the worst game ever produced....

it feels very "far cry" though - drive around, do stuff, ransack a base, clear "the fog of war", kill randomers at the side of the road....upgrade your character...

next will either be BF1 or Fifa17 - despite my loathing for EA the demo of F17 looked great.

Why're you limited to only playing one game at a time? lol

Get life is strange & uncharted 4. Insanely good games.

I'm an occasional gamer - may go a month or two without even switching the PS4 on (particularly in summer) so having multiple games on the go doesn't really work for me.

I played episode 1 of Life is Strange last night. I was getting quite into it.... And then it finished. I admit I didn't spend as much time wandering around as I could have so it's partly my own fault - but it did seem surprisingly short!

I haven't bonded with Fallout either, I think you need to be into the series earlier to "get it", I struggle to do the basic things to be honest frown

My suggestion would be either Far Cry 4 or Metal Gear Solid: Phantom Pain.

Bloodborne DLC?

I was surprised WelshJ said Bloodborne was much easier than DS3. I didn't think so.

Personally I have purchased Bioshock collection and just completed Bioshock 1 on hard mode. Really really enjoyed it. I had only played a couple of hours of the original Bioshock many years ago.

Divinity Original Sin is also good.

That is an option I hadn't thought of - but if I want more of the same, I think I'd switch to DS3. I preferred those over Bloodborne.
