Good lord this is good. Played a lot of BF 1942 years ago, I've missed the menu music
Really good, doesn't feel overly 'dumbed down'. Good pace on most maps, not the most obvious on things like getting new weapons etc but no biggie.
Really loving sniping in this, so satisfying finding a den in the hills somewhere and plinking away. Surprised myself with a couple long shots considering I haven't had an FPS on the xbox in a good couple years.
I found with sniping with the standard rifle is that you don't have aim high for long range shots. I missed a few yesterday when aiming across the map and found that I got head or body shots from aiming direct at them not above. unsure if the rifle compensates for thisReally good, doesn't feel overly 'dumbed down'. I've been fiddling about with the zoning distance thing, want to try a couple different rifles as well. It's very satisfying when you figure out the bullet drop and get someone 300-400 metres away.
Don't know if it's because I've just been stuck on Forza etc for ages but this is a gorgeous game. Making me want to upgrade my TV.

Anyone suffering from bad lag / rubber banding?? Started playing this yesterday and loving the feel (in SP) but due to poor signal servers haven't been able to enjoy MP.
Any advice / recommendations on how to find myself on decent servers appreciated.

Had great fun playing conquest as a Scout on the mountain map last night (can't remember the name).
Had a great spot looking down to the E flag and was picking people off with ease...was quite suprised how long I was in the same area with no return fire!
Scout class is definitely my favourtie, I'm rubbish at the frantic up close runing/machine gunning

Had a great few games tonight with some PH'ers. I'm currently hoovering up on campaign at the moment, going backwards and collecting all the field manuals and completing the codex for the achievements.
One thing I have noticed, can you not change your MP loadout unless you're in a game? I was looking at the screen of things I could buy with my war bonds earlier in an MP game but I can't get back to that screen outside of MP. I've looked on the 'soldier' tab on the main menu but that just lists stats.
