Don't fit the bushes and brackets just cable tie it roughly in position.
Pump studs are M5.

Thanks Steve, much appreciated. Don't fit the bushes and brackets just cable tie it roughly in position.

Thanks for the previous tip about using split washer pipe around the brake pipes when attaching with cable ties. Works well!
Have you run a tap down all the threaded fixings? Chassis mounts, seatbelt etc.
The bolts into the top of the chassis (top of tunnel with earth cables) are hard enough to fit without them being full of paint.
Steve
ETA Have you prepared the body?
Clean off the old mastic (particularly from the seatbelt tab positions).
Tidy the wiring and tie it up to the windscreen wipers.

If you have not done so already; The bolts into the top of the chassis (top of tunnel with earth cables) are hard enough to fit without them being full of paint.

I would recommend painting the underside of the body before you place it back on the chassis. I used black hammerite paint, followed by a coat of the hammerite black anti chip paint.

I did run a tap through some of them when it came back from the powder coat, but will run through them all again.I have all new bolts so I can check them all. The bolts into the top of the chassis (top of tunnel with earth cables) are hard enough to fit without them being full of paint.

I have cleaned the body and removed vast quantities of mastic .
Thanks for the heads up.

So you use clear split washer pipe around the brake pipes where you cable tie it ?
Yes, it feels much nicer than cabling the pipes to the nicely prepped chassis.I did cut some fuel pipe to cover any potential rubbing points for the copper fuel pipe too. Might be overkill but now the time.

Not something missing as such, but did you want to do any cleaning and painting of the engine itself?
Have to add that i cannot see the condition of those areas, just can see that the rocker covers and plenum are not a nice bright colour
Everything cleaned and degreased, haven't got the patience for all that polishing! Have to add that i cannot see the condition of those areas, just can see that the rocker covers and plenum are not a nice bright colour

Cracking job there fella.
The only thing I can see missing is the hand brake lever or are you fitting that after
you have the body back on?
Good luck with dropping the body on.
Paul.
Haven't decided which is easier, before or after. What do people think? The only thing I can see missing is the hand brake lever or are you fitting that after

Leave the cable disconnected then the lever will lift almost vertical and slot into place as the body comes down.
