A few weeks ago I was working in the back garden when my ears pricked up to the unmistakable sound of side-draught webers; imagine the delight at seeing this outside smile

The owner was a lovely gentleman and the ensuing conversation was as easy and flowing as was the evidence of his passion for his cars.

A few days later I was astounded to receive this gift through the post.

A delightful, interesting read of one mans journey through his cars - heartily recommended.

I thought that the least I could do in return was to post it here (I have no connection commercial or otherwise)

I bought the book earlier this year after seeing it mentioned on PH.

Some great stories and some wonderful cars involved.

Think I'm right in saying all profits go to charity - would make a great Christmas present for any motoring enthusiast.

Thanks for the posts!
I wondered why I suddenly has a rash of 12 orders yesterday
All books ordered by 4pm catch that day's post.

All monies go to Little Havens Children's Hospice in Southend.
Our Lotus group has raised more than £250,000 for children's charities in the last 12 years.

Latest book posted to BS37 was numbered 648/1000 so we are not talking J K Rowling sales figures here but we are doing some good

Buy for Christmas..the recipient should he happy and the hospice will be !

My other car was a Ford
