I'd say it's all about the track now with supers. Long sweepers you need an RE7B or X80. Short n twisty Nero or Tempesta?

I thought yours was a custom too?
When Jim and I did some straight line tests the non custom Nero was quicker accelerating once on the move, not sure about in corners though

I think that finish was all about minute boosts from bumps in the road. DJ looks like he was gaining before the corner exit anyway and there's a bit of track edge sunk into the road which he went over which might have made all the difference.

I agree, I think the bumps just to the left of the last post on the final straight made a difference

Played a bit of single player this week and run over a dog, I had forgotten how bad that made me feel having been online so much...

I think I'll be getting one of those new italias, I had been working towards Retro'in my Comet but that car looks really good.

Well in my perfect, cant question it testing of the none custom GTB. I did 5 laps around canyon crossing with a full grid in a none contact race and was only beaten by an RE7B, in fact the top 6 cars were all RE7B....except me. got beat to the fastest lap by 3rd, think mine was a 2:10 and he did a 2:08

So in conclusion......its a good competitive car.

I kept trying to join the race invites last night but it wouldn't let me into the sessions.

I've been really struggling to get decent races with randoms, it's always just plummet, chiliad or one lap around double loop with the non contact on. It's a shame as the double payout was a decent earner the last time they ran it but it's not making good money this time.

I've pretty much given up on racing with randoms, it drives me mad.
I can handle them ramming you off as its easy to counter it, but the catchup and slipstream does my head in

I normally play H200, Duel, Vespucci and a few others, normally get some good races on those... most of the time top 3...

Duel's the one in muscle cars with two routes isn't it? Which is better, the left or right route (blue or red)?

If I'm at the front I go left, but if a lot are in front I pick which ever the least amount of people have taken

I always go right, as it gives a better line (to me) on the start finish straight. Its also one of the few races I normally win.

Slipstream I don't mind, catch-up needs to be removed from the races, nothing worse then being 1st the whole way and then losing due to being slow on the last straight.

I always go left, no real reason. I always go left on canyon crossing and double loop as well. Maybe it's because I'm left handed laugh.

I never really struggle to get into the top three racing randoms and I race as dirty as they do if they start. Rammed one guy off a gap in the barrier the other day because he'd spun me earlier in the race laugh. It's just that the randoms aren't picking races that are fun or pay well and I can't be bothered sitting waiting for people to join if I host.

Never noticed that, but I go right on Canyon Crossing and Double loop.....maybe it is a left/right handed thing.

As for races, I struggle...period hehe

I always go right (because thats the route i've had way too much practice at) ... you tend to be slower in the 1st half but then catch it back up towards the end on the second half...

I always choose right.... i'm a lefty..

If there's a choice, with the exception of the race with a loop vs a jump (left vs right) I just choose whichever is closer/easier/less busy.

Racing with randoms can be fun, especially if you get punted off on the first lap and spend the next chasing the offender down just to punt them off smile I did that to one random right on the last corner and got a PSN message with just 'SMH' after the race laugh If you can't take it etc etc

Do you do anything on GTA online other than race?

Keen to do some online play with a gang but can't take it serious as a street racer after Forza Horizon 2/3 boxedin
