I have no idea how the hell some of lot set these times - I know I'm losing in certain places because I'm backing off too much to avoid a crash but didn't think I'd be nearly 10 seconds off the pace before handicaps!

You need to steer this car on the throttle. Which is especially troublesome as the fast corners are where you need to do this the most!
The main problem I had is that its such a fine line between a good oversteer to get round the corner and snapping round on you.

I don't have that problem so much, the walls keep jumping out at me. There are no small accidents on this track...love it though.

The bit thats caught me out the most is the bloody fencing on the last corner where it comes back to the road.
I've lost count the number of times i've hit that while on a good lap, grrrrr!!!

Just nailed a good lap but still not good enough for first. Found that braking a little more gently and a bit earlier allows you to carry more corner speed and able to feather the throttle to keep stability for when you nail it on the exit.

I just matched my previous best (when i was using illegal aids), but I'm still a way behind you fly boys...too knackered to go again tonight, just wanted to get a time on the board after my blatant stupidity last night smile

I'm using tourrettes mode on pclapupdater, so I'm down with the cockwomble myself...alongside the usual f'ing and jeffing.

Hi Mark

FYI I went on yesterday to log a few laps, then switched to Karting on different tracks for a bit of fun and it still sent the data. I deleted the lap as I realised it was still sending and said 78 seconds ahead :-)

I'm starting to understand the car. But the track pisses me off. Many times I've been chucked into the sky by "hitting" the "mountain" but when I check the replay there is a visible gap between my car and the wall.

I've given up for now.
