Well done to evans, winner of the last race. Tronneh takes the lead in the championship from xjay1337.

Next race is a bit more mainstream, RUF RGT-8 GT3 at Brands Hatch. NOTE THAT THIS IS 1 WEEK DURATION.

You might also notice that your handicap/boost may have taken a bit of a hammering. This is the calculation of discarding the worst 2 results kicking in and now that the vast majority of you have taken part in 3 races, this means it is effectively your best race of the 3 being used. It's the same for everyone and will get more and more accurate the more races we complete.

A track I know and a car I'm more comfortable with - hopefully be a bit more competitive this time around...

Me and the lads from the @trackaddict IG group are doing a GT3 league at the moment... guess what car I'm using :-)

Unfortunately, I just can't get on with S2 on Brands GP, always struggled lol. More practise!

I must be getting old, or I was Cinderella in a previous life. Once it gets to midnight I'm too tired to drive any more. It's usually when I switch to Euro Truck Sim2 or ATS and grab a drink. If I last an hour after that I'm done in.

I'm such a party animal. Lol

Telemetry data is coming ........

Compare how you're driving to other people, ie what the eff am I doing wrong.

Will be able to compare rpm, speed, gear, steering inputs, brake and throttle.

That would be superb for someone like me. I know what I'm doing wrong sometimes (usually going in too hot on a corner and missing apex / scrubbing speed).....but it would be good to see some of the faster guys data and compare to help learn or get some commentary / coaching based on data.

Yup, I want to see what gears the fastest guys are in, when they're braking, how hard they're accelerating etc. Watching their videos is a good help, but cold hard data should help more

No windows machine anywhere in the house??? We have had people running a windows vm on macs that works but is a faff.

Failing that you can enter your times manually, but you don't get sector splits or the telemetry bit (when I've finished building it)

So I was getting frustrated with this one as didn't seem to be able to nail a lap.

Having managed to get hold of the windows laptop to post a time using the updater rather than doing it manually, the car had the ABS and TC turned off despite the fact I had the settings to real - so I assume they should have been on automatically?

Anyone any idea why that might have been the case?

Not really, they should be on by default unless you turn them off. I have them mapped to buttons on the steering wheel. PCLapUpdater has the aids icons that should flash when they're kicking in, note not whether they are on or off

Yeah it was a bit weird - only way I could get them to work was to manually switch them on. Wouldn't have noticed if I hadn't managed to use the updater - I'd have just been left wondering why I kept losing the rear end in places I'd never been losing it before!

I think it's a PCars glitch, I had that happen a couple of challenges ago, no idea what caused it or how it stopped happening sorry. I just double check everything, make sure aids are real and have buttons mapped as Mark said. To double check, first run on the combo I hit the buttons to make sure it says n/a for disallowed aids, and then I always use ABS if allowed, SC and TC usually off.
