have played Battlefield 1 to death, and am fancying something a bit longer lasting (i dont play online multi player)

given the latest "Mafia" game or GTA5 whats your choice? have enjoyed both games previously in various versions, looking for something to hold my attention a few weeks/months as a solo player.

GTA5.

Just don't record yourself playing it and upload it to YouTube amongst all the other 50 Billion GTA5 gameplay videos.

Played both - completed GTA V but bailed on Mafia 3 due to repetitive missions after a week......

GTA V a far superior title IMHO.

GTA V is a much bigger better game

i've just finished Mafia III and really enjoyed the setting and the gameplay, it was a touch repetitive but its only a short game.

GTAV is the most incredible game I've ever played. Get it, you won't be disappointed.

Agreed to all. Mafia looks great but I didn't find myself making time to play it. Bought the beautiful collectors edition box and played it for say 10 hours at max.

GTA5 is just full on madness.

Loads of other great games out there mind you :-).

I've played through single player on gta 5 three times and it's still fun to jump into now when online isn't an option.

As a bonus you get gta online and that is like a whole new awesome universe in itself.

Good to hear these comments as I've just bought this for PS4, arrives tomorrow. Have it on X360, but never finished it and online is obviously a new addition that I'm looking forward to. As is the optional first person viewpoint of course smile

GTA5.

Fallout 4 is very different and I have to admit, I love Fallout games, but I haven't finished the game now that I've met a key character, shall we say. I simply stopped playing.

I'm only like Level 40 and yet I can 1 or 2 hit most monsters and Deathclaws are easy so there's no challenge.

Fallout 4 was the first FO game I finished (along with all of the DLC) and it does become a bit easy after a point (I think I'm level 80 something and playing on Very Hard). Get yourself an explosive minigun and welcome to stupidly easy mode biggrin

Anyhow, GTA5 has arrived and once the 13Gb update has installed, I'll welcome the new challenge

Skyrim HD.

Definitely a game that keeps on giving... :-).

Same with Bloodborne, Dark Souls 3 and at the cheaper easier end, Lords of the Fallen. All three are one type of game and can put people off due to being too hard.

As for First Person GTA5, I find it a bit vom tastic, so stick to traditional view. I do appreciate the novelty though :-)

The first person aspect of GTAV doesn't do it for me, it doesn't suit the gameplay.
