My daughter has started playing Fortnite on the Switch.
Currently she uses the Joy-cons in the grip and i wonderd whether a proper wireless controller would be a better option? If so, whats recommended?

Circuit Superstars is great (got it on our Steam Deck, only just realised it's on Switch too).
Whilst it looks cutesy the physics are wonderful so you really have to think about racing lines etc, it's extremely satisfying when it all comes together. Tyre Deg, fuel, the track rubbering in, it's all in there so it's a surprisingly deep arcade sim.

Cheers, I’ll have a look at those. I notice there’s also some WRC games very cheap too so i might have a go at that.
Need to look at some controllers too. We bought a couple of extra Joy-Cons last year but they were cheap aftermarket jobs that have already crapped out.
Fork out £60 for another pair of official ones or look for some decent second hand chunkier wired versions?

Try Art of Rally as well, arcade looks but a pretty deep handling model.Need to look at some controllers too. We bought a couple of extra Joy-Cons last year but they were cheap aftermarket jobs that have already crapped out.

I've done this before, buy and immediately delete now/whenever an offer is on, then on Christmas eve night go in and let it redownload at night.
Just some delayed closure on this, went off without a hitch. Downloaded it a week before and deleted then re did it the night before. And he’s not been off it since!
upload
Thanks all

That looks absolutely fantastic. I might buy that and steal my sons Switch to play it Whilst it looks cutesy the physics are wonderful so you really have to think about racing lines etc, it's extremely satisfying when it all comes together. I've reached the Porsche Supercup now (although it's not called that, nothing is licensed), the car feels amazing to throw around and you really notice it once the tyres start to go. Love it.Dan_1981 said:
Quick Question....
We got the 3 months free online thing with our new switch.
Was hoping that you got the DLC for Mario Kart with that but it seems you need to upgrade to the 'extension pack' online deal thingy to get that.
What else do you get access to with that?
A selection of Megadrive, Gameboy Advance and N64 games. Plus a couple of other game expansions. We got the 3 months free online thing with our new switch.
