GTA Vice City, huge shoot out that's basically at PS2 version of scar face, before you waltz off into the sunset.

Bloodborne and the Souls series.
I really liked the 'Childhood's Beginning' ending in Bloodborne. The Moon Presence fight was very dramatic and then the notion that the player has ascended to an infanty deity is pretty amazing.

Dark Souls 2 was also very good. I loved the theme of cyclic patterns in the game, and how no matter what you choose, you're pretty much assured that in time, the fires will fade again and a new hero will rise. Watching your character being sealed in at the Throne of Want was mint.

My first time through Bloodborne I didn't get the umbilical chords so didn't see the Moon Presence fight. 2nd time through on NG+ I did and it was all good.

Dark Souls 2 - I didn't manage to do the triple boss fight thing at the end. I did the double, so am trying to think if I ever saw the full Throne of Want ending?

Cheers

+1.

Monkey Island 2 deserves an honourable mention too, it really took me a while to work out but when you look back it's so clever.

I'm back on with RDR (backwards comp on Xbox One) after giving it up on release. Everyone's been raving about it recently after the sequel was announced.

Bought Monkey Island 1 in the Steam Sale over Christmas - similar story - bought it back in the day but never made any progress.

Hopefully both should keep me going for a while as most new releases just dont interest me. At all!

Mass effect 2 is currently free on Origin.

Fill yer boots if you don't have it.

Thanks for the early heads up, gives me a good 8 hours for Origin to update first.

Portal 2.

Can I say that the worse ending was Atic Atac one the ZX Spectrum.

That's all I get for hours of play, sleepless nights and mapping it all out on scraps of paper.

Both my best and worst ending just because the story was so well told but upset me so much.

The first game I ever completed. It must have been about 1983 - playing it in my bedroom until about 2am and finally did it. It was the key of "ACG" if I remember right?

I recall that! Played on the original XBox.

Didn't Mafia 2 feature that scene also?

San Andreas was decent also.

I don't think I've played Mafia 1 but Mafia 2 I remember had a fairly interesting ending. The shift from the 40's into the 50's was cool too.

ETA: plus the start where you were fighting in WW2 was a great way to get into the game. I was hoping they would put a bit of 'nam action into 3 but unfortunately it was not to be.

There are two DLC chapters planned for Mafia 3, one is going to be set in Vietnam. I think the other one might be about Vito or something.

I assume you mean the Suicide Mission and not the actual ending.
Unless you play LotSB last of course; or Arrival.
