I don't like the thicker heated grips and have been told about these but wouldn't mind hearing from anyone who has them or used them

I fitted their Heat Demon heated grip kit that I got from a place online called Winding Roads on my 1200 Bandit.

They were fairly easy to install and worked about as well if not better than the factory heated grips on my new Street Triple.

Yep that's exactly the one I'm looking for. There are cheap ones on eBay which look like copies but I think I'd go with the genuine

Just want it to feel like normal grips with some added heat

Dont really like them though. The heater unit is huge and the grips are a fair bit thicker

I'm told the R&G ones are very good as an alternative and they are £35

I've got through R&G ones and they're fine. Couldn't deface my bars with the Oxford monstrosities.

Ive just been chatting with two mates who I didn't even know had them and their reply was 'exactly!' they are meant to be very good so I'll invest my money there I think

In the mean time I'll try these Velcro wrap things I've got ordered as they were cheap and due in a few days

I don't get why people find thick grips an issue, do they have hands like a six year old? By the time I have my gloves on I want to feel like I'm steering an elephant's cock, not a drinking straw.

There used to be another version of the Oxford grips badged 'Roxter' that were a third of the price but exactly the same apart from the logo; I'm on my second set (only because I changed bikes) and the've lasted years, unlike the factory Honda grips that failed after one season.

I've had em on every bike that hasn't had factory heated grips already installed.

Their cheap, look factory and work as well as factory jobbies. The switch unit is nice and small and easy to locate and I've never had one fail on me. Unlike factory ones.

Why anyone would pay £300 for factory or use those nasty oxford type things when these are available is beyond me.

Easy to install as well. Only difficult bit is finding a switched live feed to run them off.

So they're a big thumbs up from me.

There is a sticky pad provided meaning you can mount the switch box out of site. But each to their own.
