Snipers in fpp shoot em ups

I can't say i mind camping snipers because, as has been said, they're very easy to kill if they're genuinely camping rather than camp and move. A lot of games also have assault rifles that, due to their faster ADS time and aim assist, can be used to out snipe snipers. Guns like the ACR in MW2, or in the case of Titanfall 2 the burst fire assault rifle.

Having played MWR for a while where sniping is fairly easy, the sniper rifle on Titanfall 2 was surprisingly rubbish and I've not seen many people use it. Well, up until this evening at least where i was shot 3 times by a guy who was in mid-air each time. Fair play to that bod, very impressive sniping.

I've no interest in camping myself. If i was fighting a war in real life then sure, i'd camp (or adopt the foetal position; whichever seemed safer at the time), but in respawn modes on a computer game it's just dull. It's like sellotaping a tray of bird seed to the end of a shotgun and blowing tweetie pie's head off when it pecks at it. No challenge = no satisfaction. Equally no-scoping at point blank range. It's quite amusing and you can tell the guy on the other end is p*ssed, but fundamentally it's lucky and therefore not satisfying.
