There`s no need for anyone to worry about hitting spectators as they`re all dead. I killed them.

Done mine and went better than i expected, hardly ever driven pikes peak, prefer rally side of things, much prefer to have a Co driver telling me were to go.

Did the first stage, the weather was atrocious be careful out there and give me two rings when you finish the stage!
Well it was close through the opening stages - if you beat me after the final run I'm not gonna be impressed... wink

You can rest easy, you beat me by 10 seconds in the end.

Racing drivers excuse, i only had time to do the one run as wife was tutting at me as not yet packed and flying out today. It felt a good run with only 2 offs though so in all fairness not sure if I'd of been quicker.

May struggle with next weeks as get back late next Saturday and am at work on the monday so need to use sunday for f1 and catching up with time difference.

Well, I did my run.
Decided to 'take it easy' on the first run to get a banker, then go for it on the second run of each stage.
That went ok for stages 1-3, stage 4 I had a little 'upside down incident' and then decided to take it a bit steady on run 2, so not as fast as I had hoped.

Overall, some 30 seconds off my offline PB, but not tooo bad.

Bring on next week biggrin

Not driven the 205 before, doesn't half bog down on the revs out the hairpins. Found getting straight back on the throttle after braking helped a bit. Rolled once and flew straight off on a fast left hander but somehow managed to continue. All good fun. smile

Good thing about having a clutch pedal, dip clutch give it some revs and lift clutch. No more bogging down.

I have my clutch pedal set up for the handbrake. Can't get on with it on the wheel.

Retired on my first run.

I went off a good few times, lots of damage and a puncture.

Any spectators I missed last week I killed them on this run.

Due to the puncture I thought I would abandon that run. Made a Numpty mistake and pressed `retire`.

Have we got an update on the results of the first Pikes Peak event? Not sure who was sorting them this time...

Hold my hands up to this one -been pretty busy at work and full of head cold so felt rotten when got home. Will try and sort something tomorrow, failing that, Quikcurl will do something tomorrow. Sorry again!

No worries and no need to apologise, especially given how much time you've put into setting everything up. Was just curious how far down the order I was on this one before I throw my attention towards the Audi...

I managed to finish a rally, but not unscathed. Not sure if it's me or that Audi, on my first run up the full course I took a little knock which caused an offside rear puncture @2:30 which soon was a bare rim, 2nd run up the hill was no better but atleast I was a little further up @8:30 when I lost the same tyre again.

Gents, I've updated this now, hopefully not made any mistakes, but please check and let me/Tonsko know if you think you've been short changed!

We have a change of lead! TurboJay up to his old tricks and now beating bananachips by a single solitary point. Game on.

Other developments: Jon_BMW overtook SteveCat7, and NorthernMonkey - you are now in my sights as we are currently tied on points!

I've not worked out the likely changes due to dropping a score, so it could all change again yet!

Given your pace compared to mine on that run, I suspect we'll not be tied after the final round... wink
