I enjoyed it a lot, it's far from perfect but I do seem to be addicted anyway.

I have enough in amazon vouchers from the rewards scheme at work to pick it up for nowt though so it looks like I'm in :-)

The map is brilliant, The scale of ARMA with more close up detail... and we've only seen a small portion.

Yup I'm getting it too. Multiplayer co op is great.

This is the way to do it with betas. Make them available to everyone and people will be encouraged to buy the game, if it's any good, as opposed to only releasing betas to people who've already bought it.

Looking forward to this, didn't play the beta and haven't read much about it.

Great game, this. Played for about 5 hours straight with a friend. It gets better with higher difficulty settings.
Pre-ordered and downloading now ready for launch on Tuesday.

Ugh, got my copy last night and played for 6hours...you have to repeat all the beta missions and level up again! frown

On the plus side the whole map is unlocked from the get go, spent an hour just flying a chopper around sight seeing. I think this game has ALOT of depth. I just hope the missions are as good.

2.779gb update to download as you start and it needs 40gb to install

Bought this yesterday and played for a few hours last night.

Really enjoyable. Managed to sneak in and eliminate a unidad outpost without being spotted, only to get hammered by a passing patrol as I left.

Very vast game, huge map.

Would be good to organize some PH co-op at some point.

I went to the salt flats up north west last night which was fun, I found its more immersive turning it up to the hardest setting and turning off the mini map.

Great! Bought it so it is downloading. I've avoided a few of the recent TC games as they seemed to focus too much on the online co-op style. I'm looking forward to having a play at this

I'm enjoying it at the moment but I can see me getting bored with it before the end of the game unless the missions become a little more involved and difficult. I'm finding the missions where you have to take over the bases (with lots of rebels) easier than the ones with just one or two rebels in a hut...So far the general gist of every mission is go to X, kill rebels, steal car or rescue someone then get to Y with the object/person. Being so early in the game, I am still ok with that but if they dont start getting better then I will get bored quickly.

The driving mechanics are not at all good. every car, tank etc "feels" like they weigh very little and they corner like flies when they shouldn't.

Turn the mini map off and set it to extreme.

not played yet but from that, I hope it doesn't turn into a Mafia III

I've not had chance to get into it properly, but agree with other comments that the driving mechanics are rubbish. But I'm used to forza horizon.

I just shrug off the driving, its a mechanism to get from A-B. The handling isn't perfect by a long way but it is manageable. If they fixed it then people would complain the cars don't grip differently enough on different surfaces etc etc etc.

Not had a real chance to get in to it but really enjoying it. What does bug me is the other AI squad members tend to go/do what they want, when your trying to go stealth.

Sneaking up on an enemy camp, one of the team decided that the best place to be was the other side of the wall in plain sight of the enemy.

I'm fairly sure that AI squad members are "invisible" unless shooting/engaging the enemy. I've had a few of mine walkthrough an enemy and him pay no attention!

Some of the missions are pretty funny though and quite varied.

One gets you to use your drone to fly in a window and record a politician shagging his mistress without being caught which made a bit of a change from shooting people in the face.

The stealthy missons where you have to plant bugs etc are quite cool too

flying/driving is pants but as has been said its a means to get from a-b etc...
