The credit 'calculations' are baffling.
How much was the GT One? I only have a couple of million I think so there'll be some grinding incoming I suspect.
Yes, so first go at it and it took me just shy of 40 mins, zero weather issues, not one I'll grind or do very often. How much was the GT One? I only have a couple of million I think so there'll be some grinding incoming I suspect.
2.5m credits which I guess isn't bad value really.

Update is out, straight into the Toyota GT-One.
The events though, jesus. WTC 900, Le Mans, 10 laps, 400k payout (600k with CR bonus), how on earth have they come to this number when there's already a lesser event with a higher payout. It's almost at this point like they're doing it to pish everyone off.
I did it and short of me being an idiot and having to do a 2 stop race when everyone else was on a 1 it was fun. I was surprised that the weather stayed the same and it stayed daylight through it all. I see no need to go back and do it very often, but it was nice to go passed the slower cars that were there for the full LM experience. The events though, jesus. I was having a lovely time driving my new TS020 around Le Mans.
I was catching the leader going into the last lap having pitted for softs a few laps earlier. Coming down towards Indianapolis, the rear stepped out and i only just collected it up in time, hands sawing at the wheel. My rear left had worn to nothing and I hadn't seen it coming!
Looks like the car is so authentically recreated, they’ve even incorporated the Katayama curse from ‘99!

There are numerous vids on YouTube where people record their pulls.
Personally I've had many millions in credits and cars.
I’ve never won a single gold bar, not once. The majority of the time the 30 grand prize, or fully adjustable aus for a piece of st car I have 0 interest in driving Personally I've had many millions in credits and cars.
Consider yourself lucky!
4 star: 500k in gold bars
4 star: 500k in gold bars (again)
6 star: Aston DBR9 GT1, which I sold for 388k because I’ve already got one.
Maybe I should buy a lottery ticket.

Do they even listen to the community
PD have known better than the community for 25+ years, no reason to expect them to be listening to anything now.The Chevelle 454 is a favourite car of mine, they've even chosen my favourite year, so that's nice. Shame they picked an automatic to model but ho' hum.
I thought the use of a song in the trailer that repeatedly chants about "changing the game" was a delicious dose of fk you irony from PD as they release 3 largely irrelevant cars and crucially some new text chat from random floating head icons in the cafe.
Any change of fixing the various custom race bugs so they work properly? Of course not.
Some more balanced payouts to shift the grind from running the same 3 races over and over? Of course not.
Endurance races? Nope.
Sophy AI implemented more broadly? No.
Improvements to the pointless 'chase the rabbit' style races where you have to be 4-5 seconds a lap faster than everyone else to stand a chance of winning, thus removing any hint of 'racing' from things? No.
Here's an imaginary Skoda, game changing indeed
