It feels a bit randomised, but I noticed that the two camps nearest Lake Knot City tend to have a big supply of metal and ceramic.. Those guys are easily dispatched and you can fill a truck to capacity with materials from those camps..
But I'm now having to transport that all the way towards Mountain Knot City of the other side of the mountain area - the MULEs / terrorists around there only seem to have special alloys and resins, and the roads towards Mountain Knot now want something daft like 7000 ceramic to build
Had my first encounter with a bigger BT too, I'm still only using hematic grenade lvl.1 so took a few to get rid of him, but it dropped a huge amount of crystal so was worth the effort.

Thanks for that; Based on your advice I've just visited the MULE camp SW of The Engineer / NW of The Elder and picked up (literally) tonnes of Ceramics. Incidentally, you get Hematic Grenade L2 when you convince The Palaeontologist to join the UCA. You can also get Custom Hematic Grenades if you do regular deliveries to The Craftsman.
Also, if anyone comes across anything made by Add1ct1v then that's me. Throw me a "like" and/or establish a strand.
Depending on the luck of the draw, you may or may not find my Safe House, Generator, and Watchtower SSE of the Weather Station, on the way to Timefall Farm. I built them when the servers are overloaded and unavailable, and pop back from time to time to repair them.

Hey guys, I would like to play some interesting games. Recommend me some of them. Thank you!
I know we have gone a little off-topic lately discussing Death Stranding here (although in fairness it is a game that was free on Epic), and with hindsight it should have had its own thread, but "recommend me some games" really does belong in its own thread.Edited by Clockwork Cupcake on Saturday 21st January 10:41
Currently free on Epic is Epistory - Typing Chronicles which "immerses you in an atmospheric game where you play a girl riding a giant fox who fights an insectile corruption from an origami world". Like you do.
It appears to involve typing.
Well, that's certainly different!

Really need these, last giant Whale squid I killed took 20 grenades plus a few rounds from a Lvl2 Assault rifle. Then there was the battle with two BT lions at the same time. I'm now lugging around six racks of lvl1 grenades just in case.Mind you I very nearly ragequit the game with doing a time limited delivery of an extremely fragile package in the mountains and any BT encounter pretty much instafailed the mission, very not fun restarting and driving that awful handling truck for 10minutes each time. And WTF is with the walking physics being so beautifully tuned and the vehicles being like very badly made toys??!
Glad to have a second (and third) screen for those interminable cutscenes, I'm trying to keep track of the plot, perhaps a futile endeavor.

Place a postbox nearby and put your fragile cargo in the Private Locker. That way it is protected whilst you deal with the BTs. Then collect it again after and continue on. Or, if in a truck, make sure you park it outside the radius of the tar lake that is created during a miniboss or it will not only suffer but it also vomits its contents all over the place which is very annoying if it is fully laden as it takes ages to reload it all, and in very heavy BT areas the respawn rate is short enough that they return before you are ready to proceed. Which is extra annoying.

Think I'm wasting my time now, the fun bits are outweighed by the frustration.

Reached a "transport delicate, heavy and explosive cargo across mountains infested with bad guys" what a horrible combination of poor driving mechanics, stupid lack of save points and insta fails.

Turn the difficulty down. There's no shame in it.Think I'm wasting my time now, the fun bits are outweighed by the frustration.

Can you build the teleporty mast thingies yet (sorry forgotten their name)? I think I did that mission using those.Think I'm wasting my time now, the fun bits are outweighed by the frustration.
Also, when fighting BTs lob a grenade at them then swap to a normal or crystal gun and shoot through the cloud of blood. Does the most damage; hampered by the fact that swapping weapons is really cumbersome (on console at least).

Yep did that. Died some more but eventually had enough luck to get it done.
I have got the Zipline blueprints but hadn't considered using them to cover such a big distance.
I've set up a zipline network up to The Elder from both the Distribution Centre South and also The Engineer. Deliveries to The Elder are now trivial, which is great as there are usually loads of deliveries from other players in the Shared Lockers for The Elder.I have got the Zipline blueprints but hadn't considered using them to cover such a big distance.
I might set up a chain of them to the Wind Farm next, which will circumvent the BT encounter I always get when traveling up there by vehicle.
We really should have a separate thread for Death Stranding, so I have created one.
edit: But then was informed that there is an existing one.
