Had my first proper 'Live' experience last night on PGR3

There was a decent sprinkling of Brits on so it was mostly entertaining chit chat, but I've just been through this thread and noted all your tags.

Question is, is there a way to specifically search for you chaps or do I have to just keep my eyes peeled and hope I bump into you at some point?

Yes, look for the option to add people (its there). Their status will be "friend request pending" until you "become friends" which, if you have a girlfriend like mine, will cause much tittering "oooh tittertitter... he wants to be your FRIEND snigger titter"

Edited to add: Give us all a positive review "preferred player" which helps our gamer score, and increases the chances of live putting us against eachother in a race. If you select random race, you are also greatly increasing the chances of playing a PHer friend on your friends list

No, I don't think it's a requirement, but it is certainly helpful to be able to talk to your fellow gamers...

no you don't need a headset. I haven't got one yet, not through lack of trying, but i manage to go online. It is frustrating at times not to be able to speak to the others online.

I spent most of yesterday afternoon on PGR3 online for the first time. Absolutely brilliant. However, I do think that without a headset (which I still haven't been able to get) my driving is misinterpreted as aggressive whereas in reality I'm just rubbish - at least that is my excuse for having a 66% negative feedback!

However, I'd really like to race people on here. Is there any way to achieve this or is it just the luck of the draw?

You just need to send a friends request to the gamertags a few posts up and wait for replies. Maybe make a PH reference in your request message ?

Do you have to have set up a custom game before doing this? I sent out a few invites last night, but wasn't sure where to go from there.......
