Sadly they don't sell the harddrive separately here since Microsoft only sell the full-on 360 pack. Anyway, they might sell a harddrives a a spare part, I'll go and ask in some shops tomorrow (I live in the heart game shop area)

Oh, by the way, stupid question, I'm new to all this 360 business. How do you meet up with friends online? Occasionally I see some of you guys online and I want to say to my Xbox "Go and join whatever race that guys in" but have no idea what to do...kind of makes my friend list redundant if I can't use it properly

Press the xbox button on the controller when in the game and go down to the middle tab (will have a no on it depending how many friends are online)go into that and it will list all friends online, click on a friends name and there will be a option to join a game with them.

Indeed, that was some great racing, what was the final score? 19-17 to you? ! I spent most of this morning racing around the ring with a few guys from the US. Nose to tail for the full lap with nobody hitting each other... they were all put straight on my friends list!

Saturday/Sunday afternoons (UK time) are probably the best chance I have of racing you and more PH people, so how about a few races next weekend?

I can usually be found playing sunday early/late afternoon. So this weekend i have no doubt i will be on there. I think i need to perfect nurburg with other cars. As i am only good with the RGT. You won by 4.5 seconds?? or something when we played it didn't you?

I know but otherwise you have to go totally random. Quick question about call of duty online... Iv'e been playing death matches online ( getting killed by 10 yr old snipers etc ) but last night this guy came on called major something. Thing is he hed a realy cool skull and crossbones ontop of his gamertag whilst playing.
I'm guessing he has killed a fair few to get it and was wondering if anyone knows how to get these icons?
Do you have to get all your achievements or something and is there one for PGR3.

PPS for those having trouble getting online.
I ended up just having my router connected to the phone line without being connected to the pc. Created my profile on the pc and went for silver on registration. It will ask if you are sure as gold is where the action is. Just say yes and it will offer you 1 months free subscription of gold.

Someone on AV Forums was banging on about him earlier, he works for microsoft apparently and has a huge list of games on his profile that haven't been released yet. What a job that must be.

I haven't got HDTV, but after seeing the 360 run on it, I would have no hesitation in upgrading. Just need to get some cash together 1st

Just got a 26" Samsung HD LCD TV, and the difference it makes compared to 'normal' TV is amazing - wouldn't hesitate in recommending HD to anyone, it really is that good

CoD2 (when are they gonna sort out Live for this? It's a bit of a dog at the mo) and PGR3 look the mutt's nuts.

Maybe see some of you guys in my mirrors (though more likely infront of me) on PGR3, or down the sights of a Sten sometime...

I agree an HDTV is worth the investment, you really can see the difference.
