Hi guys,

New to the forum but have spoken to one or two of you in the GTL pistonheads room. Daveyboy was telling me about the league and was wondering if i might be able to join in.

Have had loads of experience in online racing in Nascar 2003 first in the Jolt league and more recently in the Phoenix racing series.

Anyway would be keen to race on a sunday night with you guys so let me know.

Cheers,

Clem

Hi,

Always welcome new Pistonheaders - the more the merrier.

I'm sure that you have the password if you have been chatting to people - we don't repeat it here to stop any randoms from joining.

There is a donation required to show some willing towards to person who is kindly supplying the server - this will then keep you in the loop when the password gets changed on Sunday after the first race.

If you have any questions please email me through my profile.

Now we are only a day away from the race, I think it'd be a good idea that everyone sends me an email to email@neilbolton.co.uk so I can keep track of who is racing and who isn't.

Also it would allow me to write an email to give you all the details regarding a donation toward the server.

I've mentioned it to a few others, and so I'll be honest now - I really only want to allow regular PHers - and by this I mean people who have been members for a while - and not just signed up for the expres intention of getting into our provate server - remember we created to server so we'd have a closed and safe racing environment.

Hopefully by ensuring that we keep track of regulars and also donators (no matter how small - I appreciate some may not want to stump much up) as the server is not just a pc sat at the end of an ADSL link - its a professionally built server hanging off a big fat pipe - which is ultimately costing our friend money...

Sermon over

I love it!

I think we should have a blast round the ring one weekend on our server, Neil installed it yesterday for those who were absent
A few problems with the race starting but shouldn't be long to fix those...!

Dave.

Aaahhhh.. I saw you stepping into the blue wagon and leaving, if I'd checked this thread and known that was you I'd have said hi!

I was the dirty black Merc parked by the toilets and car park exit

I did see a Merc 190 parked somewhere and thought it might be yours. We should have a GTL League meet sometime
