I was thinking, even before we lost Davyboy and Diver on Sunday, can we drop our worst round (or maybe two rounds) I would guess over a season we might not all be able to make every race and with gremlins in the mix as well, interest could tail off at the end of the season.

Funnily enough, I have no problem with that (in fact we used to do it in our GPL league), but it's all down to the poor guys keeping count of the points and updating the website.

I don't really understand it. If i score no points and drop the round, it doesn't effect anything. Clearly that's not it so how does dropping a round work?

I think it works because if everyone has to drop a round or two then it makes it more fair for people who can't make it on certain days. If someone did every race and came 2nd every time they would ultimately beat another person who may have missed a couple of races but won every other time

Agreed, I think it's a good idea too (even though I'm not sure if I'll be joining the league or not yet!)

If everyone has to drop 2 rounds it makes you even with someone who could attend all rounds and was lucky enough not to have an equipment failure.

I think if that happened then the next best round would come into play
