I got GTL today and realise already that a wheel is going to be essential. Any recommendations, or comments (good or bad)? Must be force feedback.

Also I seem to recall PH multiplayer races being mentioned in the past, are these still happening? If so when and whats the server ip/pw?

Cheers
Hugh

I have the cheapest of the logitech range with FF.
Works absolutely fine even if it does look a bit cheap.

Snap, although mine is now making a hell of a noise when I rumble down the straights, and also smells a little bit too, I guess it's on the way out.

Are you sure its the wheel and not the driver?

That looks very nice, but seeing as you get a free pass to BRD's day of simulation excitement at Spa Francorchamps if you order now I would imagines its out of my budget, being a student!

this PS2 wheel works with a PC? I take it its USB then? Where does one get drivers for it?

Weeeeelllll, I'd first point you to the Logitech site

Download the Logitech Wingman Software and this'll be perfect. Make sure you fiddle with all the settings though because by default you'll lose the 960 degreeness.

I run mine at 540 degrees and it seems to be perfect within GTL on standard 15.0 lock.

I think you guys are compromising our right to free speech. Infact if you deleted this I wouldn't be surprised.

No, the key to that bit is ">> Edited by neil_cardiff on Thursday 16th February 17:23"

Have no idea why he editted it rather than replying to it, maybe just hit the wrong button or there is a bug in the system.

My guess is Neil clicked 'Edit' instead of 'Quote' with his new Admin privileges, and didn't notice the [quote] marks weren't there..

Done it many times myself when trying to quote my own posts.. Doh!

Fair enough - does anyone know when the PH multiplayer races are?
