I'll do a few laps tonight.

I wonder how many laps I have been doing while practising??

I bet it's around 100! I usually have a good hour a night practise

I've yet to try Magny Cours yet.

If anyone comes accross any good 911 setups could you post them here or maybe make a new thread. As my own setups are none to great and the setup I found for Imola was a serious stroke of luck, any help in this department would be greatfully received

I've only done a few laps of Magny GP and that was ages ago but GTLrank shows that my best time so far was only 3:04

Looks like I have some practice to do, see you later

Im managing 2.03 in the Elan, But I can go at least a second quicker with a clean lap.
Might be able to get a bit faster by changing setup as well but im not quite sure what im doing setup wise yet. Thus far im just randomly changing things and seeing if it feels better or not.

Definately a much better track for me, just did 8 laps without crashing too much

I might give some of the GT75 cars a try tonight to see if its worth moving up a class for the next race.

Just managed a 2:00.997 in my elan, that encluded a bit of slipping and sliding in the final sector so reckon with more work i could get under 2mins woohoo Clemento practising for a race! lol

inital racing this evening produced a 1.54.2 for my best lap in the 911 (good racing BTW guys). Not too bad but i know there is more time to be had on this track.

1:55:0 for me in the same race as Unc.

Once you get into the flow this circuit is actually pretty good - its those right/left chicanes that are the killer, and the hairpin in the middle, oh and the first double apex left hander, oh and.........

I don't like it. Very mickey mouse.

Managed a 1.52 in the 906. But race pace is about 1.54.

I might try the capri this evening - the 911 is a relatively safe bet but it always bites me in the ass when i least expect it if i make a minor mistake, mainly at medium speed corners with a spot of off camber and a quick change of direction. Feels a bit slow down the back straight as well.

Its so much less mickey mouse than Hockenheim. I think it's a good circuit. The first three turns are great, the hairpin will be great for passing, the other chicanes are tricky to get right, only the last part of the circuit (incidentally the most modern bit) is a bit twiddly.

Quite a fun track I think. It's very flowing.

A bit of setup work in the Pantera and down to 1:49.697, not sure I'll get that down much further if at all.

Got myself a 1:52:88, and I'm getting smoother and quicker so I'm hopeful of a 1:51 quali, with average 1:53 race laps...

Heres hoping...

911RSR by the way...
