Can you create more than one profile to access Xbox live from the same Xbox ? I have a mate coming around tonight for some gaming. I know I can create him a profile on my 360 but will he be able to play online with it ?

I don't really want him to be gaming online with my profile for obvious reasons !

You can create a guest account that will let you play on certain games (GRAW for one) but other games it won't work with. PGR3 will make you create a guest account before you can even play on the same console. You can have guests in with you on PDZ too.

AFAIK you can create a new profile for him and go online and select silver membership. This will give 1 months free online gaming.

After that he will have to pay for online like everybody else.

Tim is right. You can have multiple profiles and each of these can have a Silver or Gold membership. Note that each membership will have it's own subscription that will need to be paid to keep Live.
