Dijon Short Ferrari Race
Discussion
I am the yellow car with blue stripe.
as for fun racing - Neil is right: the potential for annoyance is directly proportional to the amount of time invested in each race.
It is more fun on average if we just have a race where everyone "turns up"
I propose two approaches to this:
we have a league where car and track are drawn randomly and announced on the night
OR
we dedicate one extra night a week to fun racing where everyone turns up and we decide what to do on the night. We used to this pretty much every night and it was really fun!

As I broke very early Diver (who had cought me and was just behind me) just clipped me (NP m8 ).
Thanks Yogi. To be honest I'd already lost it at the previous corner and was sliding sideways all over the road trying to get it under control which meant the car behind had nowhere to go. He tapped me and I tapped you Sorry
I had no practice this week so was pretty happy to only be a second down from pole position and in 7th place on the grid. After about lap 5 the race was interminably boring as I watched the two cars ahead gradually pull out half a second a lap, for every lap, and the car behind was dropping back by about the same. I dont think I saw any other cars until D-Mikes yellow and blue car was stopped on the start finish straight when he had his connection problems.
Towards the end I saw everyone talking about tyre problems and I got a bit excited that I may catch someone as mine were absolutley fine so I started to push harder - it made no difference though I think I finished 6th but did the last lap on half throttle to tease Neil behind me as he closed up over the finish line

that is really weird because I was still driving round with PV visible on my screen. Infact I saw benaldo lagged out at my end when presumably you could all see me lagged out. Weird.
you were stuck on the straight for me also, last two laps? hope i did'nt make any manouvres that caused you to swerve? how close were we? I did smell something funny in fact, I glanced you when i was catching Holst / Yogi on the last lap and you were definately solid
Hoping to get a dice with Diver sometime soooon
by the way... disengaging clutch and performing full throttle changes gives me about .3 secs a lap, also easier to pass people on the straight with same car, sorta NOS button

I tried it but not sure if I can be bothered :|
I'll possibly give it a shot for Donny.. although I think spinning is easier with Autoclutch off!
I did experiment with manual clutch as well in practice but I was worried I would forget to press it and spin off so I didnt bother.
