This is not the StarForce shennanigans is it?
Go to the GTL Website and download the StarForce fix and see if that helps.

Shouldn't be, I'd say it's a graphics card driver update or even a directX driver update as well.
DirectX 8 minimum needed, preferred DirectX 9.
This is very recent game and uses the latest technology so any systems not properly up to date on it's peripheral drivers will not be able to run it.

I've tried the starforce fix and that doesn't hasn't worked.
For the graphic card driver all I can find is "Plug and play monitor on Sis"followed by a code
Start, Run, type: DXDiag and press return
In there somewhere should be the version of Direct X you are running and the grahics card you have

uh-oh... this could get me into a world of trouble...
Don't blame me if you get a bollocking, you found the thread on your own
p.s. get one of these if you really want to die...
Will try and catch you on Messenger later... got some not quite directly related information that may be of interest.
Next thing is to check the website of you graphics card manufacturer.
Firstly right click the "My computer" icon on your desktop and chose properties.
Click on the hardware tab, then on the device manager button.
Find you graphics card (Display adapter) in the list and double click on it, twice once to show the card name, then double click on the name.
Click on the driver tab and note the driver number.
Find the graphics card manufacturers website (google it) and go to the support/downloads section and check for a newer driver for the card/Operating system you have.

This is the information I can find in system properties(sorry I really don't have a clue about computers)
Pentium(R)4 CPU 3.06GHz
3.06GHz,960MB of RAM
Does this help
The 960MB of RAM may suggest that your graphics card is the onboard type that shares system RAM, in which case it's probably not the best choice for gaming
