You should get the newer and better Bathurst track from here - www.mrmenmods.org/ if you haven't already. So much better than the old F1C conversion.

One is called Bathurst ->the crap one and if you downloaded it more than 3 weeks ago. The new one is called MMM_Bathurst and you will have it if you downloaded it less than 3 weeks ago.

Thanks alot Uncle Dave et al. Got the wheel this morning, works really well and importantly, FEELS alot more robust than my previous wheel. Now, for the moment I can't achieve the laps times I was before as I get used to the new wheel, its funny how a little thing like that effects it all. The wheel is impressive though as is the game: After owning a few wide tyred cars in the real world, I used to be suprised just how easily these things followed road camber especially during breaking, I think it's other wise known as tramlining- well I'msuprised to see this game does a similar thing with some of the bigger cars! (I'm sure you can tune the feedback levels down etc etc).

My next problem is NOW this game has inspired me to REALLY want to buy a real old CSL BMW. There's a RHD one for sale here in Germany almost completely restored, good restrored body, but needs a new lick of paint to complete. Yours for only 10,000 euros! What shall I do

I am fed up sitting in a dark office playing my games... so which laptop graphics woujld run the game ok ? I am looking at a Asus W1 with ATI Mobility Radeon X700 128MB or a Acer Aspire with ATI Mobility™ Radeon® X1400 with up to 512 MB of HyperMemory™ (128MB of dedicated GDDR2 VRAM; up to 384 MB of shared system memory)

How would either of these compare to a desktop grpahics card ?

Thanks

edit - does anyone know about laptops graphics or a website where to ask ?
