Who else likes the Jag?

When I first drove it it was awful. But you have to fully loosen the front roll bar, add +0.2 in tow in, fully stiffen rear springs and it handles amazingly. You can get the back out under breaking into almost any corner and go through the corner sideways (I've also since discovered you can also do similar things with a 2.0 automatic 190E... ).

Why is it so easy to get the back out on it and hold it? Is it to do with the suspension, weight balance or what? Compared to similar layout cars like the mustang it is much easier and more benign. In fact the mustang is live rear axle so you would think it would be easier to slide about in?

the mkII is great, I think, but everybody else hates it!

I don't know why it is so slow. I always see photos of big MkIIs bullying minis in old touring car races.

Why, do you keep seeing this one in your rear view mirror?

If you want a challenge try to make the Maserati saftey car a drivable car and do a police skin on it since it has lights on the roof.

Some sort of Maserati Trofeo with saftey car shell affair

Certainly a challenge - Don't think it is possible without creating an entirely new 3D model of a car though

Forgot about this thread as I went away off roading on the land rover experience!

Yes I meant the Mk II Jag.

I haven't got round to modding the physics to make any crazy cars yet in GTL - an xbox 360 for my birthday has put a bit of a hold on that. But hopefully I can create some oddness for people to try out!
