Julian, I've been a member of rFactorcentral for years now using an unique email address and I've never received a spam message to that address.

Once you've got your tracks downloaded, why not join our Sunday drivers league?

I fear I might not be that good I've literally just started.

I'm using a momo force feedback steering wheel and am having problems setting it up.

Every corner I go round the steering wheel wants to turn inward rather than outward. The force feedback seems completely wrong to me, and I can't see how to change it. I've set the car to fully professional and seem to have turned all the steering braking help off.

Thats unfortuantely the stage I'm currently at.

Hopefully when I get it all sorted, and don't look like too much of an idiot I'd love to join. I have a network of four computers in the house so might also have to mess about with port forwarding.

Sounds like you need to reverse the force feedback setting. I'm at work so I can't remember exactly how you do it, but in one of the controls menus you should see a force feedback slider - you need to reverse that value.

If for example it's currently at 50%, you need to set it to -50%. This should then get the feedback working against you rather than with you.

In rFactor it's the Top options button. Then "settings" then controls, then Force Feedback and as dobbo says change it to negative. It goes from -100 to +100 depending on the FF wheel manufacturer. Logitech always have to be a negative setting.

V2 is just version 2 of an earlier version of BH. They have since created the newer 2005 track version.

Brands Hatch V2 is dated August 2006.
Brands Hatch 2005 by the same people is dated May 2007.

Edit the CCH files for the mod.

In folder for me, - C:\rFactor\UserData\FourWheelDrift <-----your racing name.

Then using notepad open the CCH file for the mod and edit these lines at the top under Career.

[CAREER]
Experience=24816
Money=188245

Give yourself lots of cash and experience points (not too much though) then save. Do it for the mods you need to, some you don't need to as the cars are free or even give you money when you buy them smile

Can-Am cars V2.1 - http://www.filefront.com/13961273/undefined

Running the player car and opponents in medium setting will cause the main middle section of the car to not appear, for some reason the <MED> section of the GEN file for some of the cars has the 0 Lod - 150 Lod line commented out with // they need to be removed.

E.g. // <MED> MeshFile=917_body_Max.gmt CollTarget=False HATTarget=False LODIn=(0.0) LODOut=(150.0) ShadowReceiver=True

Remove the // at the beginning on the line. Only a few car types are effected - the BRM, Lola, McLaren and Porsche.

Also I had a corrupt WAV file in my unpack, it used the Historic FIAGT sounds of the Ferrari 275, so if you have that just copy the file that's faulty and paste it into the right Canam 275gtb sound folder.

PS. The following line in the Porsche's GEN file is also incorrect.

<MED> MeshFile=917_body_Max.gmt CollTarget=False HATTarget=False LODIn=(0.0) LODOut=(150.0) ShadowReceiver=True

there is no 917_body_Max.gmt, the file is called 917_body.gmt so the line should read

<MED> MeshFile=917_body.gmt CollTarget=False HATTarget=False LODIn=(0.0) LODOut=(150.0) ShadowReceiver=True

One of the most exciting new tracks that has just opened in Portugal has been created finally.

Very good incarnation. Was expecting a bit more of a basic track (not so pretty) but its actually very very good.

Mean't to be soon improved. I can see this one in the hall of fame when it does.

Now this is one a lot of people have been waiting for for ages.

I've made up my own version from a variety of mods but its such an ar$eache. These guys are very very good (believe they did the Epsilon Euskadi and the other Porsche Supercup mod) and both of those were top notch.

Its the endurance racing mod. 11 sports car models from the Le Mans Prototype and GT classes.

Downloading now, will give feedback as to what it is like later.

ftp://88.191.36.16/rFactor/Mods/Enduracers_ES_v100.exe

I propose this for the next Pistonheads league!!!! (unless we set up a seperate midweek league hehe)
