"The DRM Modding Team has released their DRM Revival Mod for rFactor, bringing some of the most spectacular Group 5 sports cars to the simulation. The mod includes five different car models, ranging from the popular Porsche 935, the BMW 320, the Lancia Beta Monte Carlo to the Ford Capri and BMW’s legendary M1. Every car model comes with unique physics and tire & suspension data, the physics are compatible to both RealFeel and LeoFFB. The cars feature plenty of historic liveries and richly-detailed cockpits & matching sounds. In its heydey, the German Deutsche Rennsport Meisterschaft was one of the most popular national racing series that ever existed, featuring spectacular & powerful cars and legendary drivers like Hans Stuck, Klaus Ludwig, Hans Heyer, Rolf Stommelen & Bob Wollek." http://www.virtualr.net/drm-revival-mod-1-0-releas...

Targa Florio is out for Rfactor. This is possibly the quickest of the mirrors at the moment. http://84.19.186.111:82/downloads/Strecken/rFactor...I was going to uninstall Rfactor last week (as I'm now hooked into Iracing) but I'm glad I didn't. This is possibly the best track/mod ever released for Rfactor. Just did 7 mins and only got 12km into a 70km track! Wow. Its very good. Preferable mode of transport should be one of the Historix cars.

Been playing rFactor for the first time this week, added the DRM and F1 '91 mods and they are absolutely brilliant! Thanks fourwheeldrift for the excellent recommendations! Edit: Downloaded FSONE2009 this morning since alot say it's the best F1 mod and I can see why, it's unbelievable! Amazing sound, graphics and physics, I could never go back to F12010 after playinjg this. I'd recommend the shader version for some amazing looking car models. http://rfactorcentral.com/detail.cfm?ID=FSONE%2020...Anyone got links to some good versions of modern F1 circuits? I'd recommend the excellent Spa '88 track from rfactorentral for the old bus stop.

Massvie thanks to Clockit for putting me onto that Lotus mod. F****g amazing!!!
Decent graphics and sound but better still the physics are stunning. It actually drives like a proper car. Fan..bloody..tastic! Never knew rF could be this good. Followed the guides on that Elites forum linked above, great stuff.
If you have rFactor, you NEED this mod.

I know this has most probably been posted before, but I'm feeling lazy and cant be arsed to look, but roughly what sort of spec pc would I need to comfortably run Rfactor and addition mods, and possibly in the future RFactor2

Do you have to pay to play rfactor? Also is it any good with a 360 pad?

You can find rFactor fairly cheap on ebay. I reckon a wheel is a must for this, not sure the xbox pad would work.
pCARS and the like may have the flashy graphics but for content and pure driving immersion nothing comes close to rFactor in my opinion, well worth the money!
