Cheers, got it working now. Is it me or does Jackie Stewart's Tyrrell handle better than some of the 09 cars?

The physics are from the 1988 mod, it's only the models that are 74-76 season. It's an unfinished mod.

Ah right, feels pretty complete to me (although I'm a noob to this!), I can never get the McLaren MP4/4 to handle properly in the 1988 mod, always VERY oversteery!

If you are feeling brave you could replace all the HDV, sfx, gear ratio ini, engine ini and suspension .pm files with ones from the Gp79 mod, which would be more realistic.

Hmm, sounds like a good plan, but after what I did modding GTA I'll pass on that!

Hmm, I've found I can get online after all from my halls (extra charges for online gaming only apply to consoles apparantly?) but now rfactor won't let me, it keeps saying "matchmaker did not respond" at the bottom of the screen whenever I attempt to connect. Any pointers? I would love to join in the PH league.

ETA: Also, is there a mod for the Reims circuit anywhere? I really fancy driving it; there's a WIP on rfactorcentral but I'm sure I've seen videos of a finished version?

You might have seen an old converted GPL version which could be anywhere or even just private conversion.

Either way you'd need these - http://www.rfactorcentral.com/detail.cfm?ID=1955%2...

Or these F1 Classic (1967) - http://www.megaupload.com/?d=2Q2V0H6D

There is a Reims circuit.

I asked if anybody had it and voila somebody converted it from GPL.

I'll see if I can rar it up and host somewhere.

Hmm, found the Audi R10 video on youtube, emailed the poster about where to get it, its called the Sports Prototype LE mod, must say its fantastic, got the R10, Pug 908 (although neither sounds like a derv) Bentley's 2003 car, a Dallara one, Cadillac and a couple more, then the old Group C cars; Porsche 956, TWR Jaguar, Lancia LC2, Mazda 787B and the Sauber Mercedes C9. All very tricky to drive.

Proper 1975 F1 mod release with correct physics - http://www.virtualr.net/f1-1975-beta-released/

Just the 1975 cars first I think not the 73-74 ones yet.

Nice, do I have to download the physics file as well or just the main file?

"comes with two sets of physics, one with realistic values and one that allows easier handling for those having problems keeping these beasts on the road"

So the one with it will be one (probably the realistic physics) the other one, the separate download will be the other set.

Anyone downloaded the first F1 2010 mod? http://f1mg.blogspot.com/ make sure you download the patch as well, otherwise you'll go barrelling into the first corner, and rfactor will crash
