I'm ranked 1st on rFactor Rank on 8 tracks with the 79 cars and in the top 4 at another 3 or 4. (Although of those 8 tracks I think I'm the only person to post a time at about 6 of them  ) at Essington Long and Cadwell I'm there on pure merit

what do you think of essington long FWD? I think it's a great track.
You should try toban long in the 79s... we did two races there last night, it's awesome. The first 4 or 5 corners are great.

(and a few more that come with the car addons AFAIK)

The Legend Cars mod is great fun! Just two cars to choose from: Cobra and GTO. The GTO is relatively easy to drive (once you figure out you have to break early) and slides can be caught without too much difficulty. There's still more than enough power for you to embarrass yourself when powering out of corners though  The Cobra is much more raw and has the loudest and meanest engine note I've heard so far. Harder to drive and you have to be super-quick to catch the back end when it snaps away but it's a nice feeling when you manage it. I think it's probably faster than the GTO but you have to put in more effort. Can we get this on the server and have a GTO vs Cobra race one evening? Please?

There's more to come on the Legends cars too. It's currently a 79mod style demo of just the two cars I think because it's still in development you can't run Cobra's and GTO's at the same time, but there might be a workaround.

I've finally started getting my rFactor install up to date, in the likely mistaken belief that I might have time to play it... is this list still current, or are there more I need to get?

I take no chances.  PS. There are some folders with multiple tracks/different layouts, like Hockenheim which has the modern track and the old long circuit, there are 4 different tracks in the 88Tracks folder and 11 different tracks in the JNSTracks folder

I downloaded something like 400MB of mods last night and I'm still missing the vast majority of the ones on the PH server. Rfactocentral has a ridiculous amount of stuff to download!
