New GTL league
Discussion
Neil.. can you look at the server for me?
MASSIVE pings on GTL, and the bloody Dameware thingy is very slow.. I mean takes 5mins (no exaggeration) for the desktop to load.
Maybe something firewall related? But I can still ping it in a command prompt between 30-40ms.

Two good races for me, 2nd place both times but really close fighting with Andy all the way it was pure coincidence that I had 30 mins play on Hockenheim yesterday morning.
The post race larkabouts in the Renaults were FANTASTIC, I can't believe we were all so close for nearly 10 laps each time (apart from Benaldo who I think must have a turbo in there )

I forgot the 2nd championship race I had no controls tried to pick up the revs and no throttle - damn - exited to pits sorted it and had to sit and watch
At least in the first race when I got taken out on the first corner I could race back through the field. I was overly cautious on the first bend so partly my fault, but cold tyres, over excitement usually means cautious works.
never mind theres always next week!

I lost my connection at the start of the second race
Also the track was running really badly, maybe poor pings as I had a quick go offline after and although I got the same fps, the game was smooth
Did anyone else have bad pings? The thing is I don't know how to find out what my ping is in the race, I can see everyone elses when on track next to there names. Can you see your own?
Oh well looking forward to next week
...and Wednesday rFactor.

I use avg anti virus, spybot & zone alarm firewall (they are all free, though donations are welcomed or better versions can be bought) Zone alarm alerts you to all programmes connecting and you can stop them, or set it to ask first, or if its important like GTL direct access without asking.
