Rob I had a similar thing the other day - just leave it a while and it should sort itself out
If you look at a server and check it's properties; like current phase (practice, quali, warmup, race) did it say "dev-string" or something similar in stead of "race" or whatever?

Well we'd better be doing ETCC tonight coz I've just this minute paid for the full game and am downloading the ETCC mod now (should be finished in 15 mins)

Don't forget the update patch it makes small but good changes but of course will give miss-matches.

That is of course if the server has the patch installed too???????????????

I just hope I can install the mod - I've just been reading your instructions in the ETCC thread

Its been a while since I've modded any game (13 mins of D/L to go)

If anyone get's miss-matches and is booted before they do shout "You need the v1.1 patch" at them

If they moan, which they will just tell them is keeps cheaters away (public server nuisance) and makes the online gameplay better with fewer errors than other netplay, as there aren't miss-matches to deal with all the time.

Not sure if I will be about straight away at 8pm, maybe later on.
