Messing about on GT4 the other night, I tried the Toyota Tacoma X-Runner pick up - muscular looking pick up, but with a decent sized looking cab. And it shifted as well - as in junior sports car fast, with good handling too. I will be the first to say it is hardly realistic - look at the Mini Cooper S, Focus ST170 and Audi TT to name but 3 cars that really aren't good to drive on it) but then I looked at the weight and it isn't as heavy as I would have expected, with some decent poke too from the engine.

So - does this thing exist in the real world and is it any good? Toyota UK website suggests you can't get it over here, but looks like just the thing to chuck some dirty bikes in the back of and still have yet more fun on the way home!

Don't have the game but is it anything like or even based on Rod Millen Pikes Peak Tacoma, that vistied the GFOS a few years back and was the fastest thing up the hill?

seems to be US only - found a review - 0-60 in seven seconds and pulls 0.9g in corners, better than a lot of sports cars apparently, including the Nissan 350Z. So perhaps GT4 has modelled it pretty accurately, in which case I want one!
