only mmorpg i play is eveonline, u can buy ingame currency for $$, but it is a breach of the EULA to do and getting caught can equal a ban. if was selling stuff, can see the govt wanting it's cut but only sell stuff within the game and not externally

hear there is a chinese server full of macro mining dweebs who then sell it to each other
