XBox 360 - Should I get one?

If so...which one?

There are so many to choose from and to be quite honest, I don't really know what the differences between the systems actually matter when you're playing.

Now I've seen this one on ebay. Is it worth that kind of money? Also is this one of the better systems to have?

There are only 2 versions, the Core and the Premium. The Core will play all the games but the Premium comes with a Hard Drive, Wireless Controller, backwards compatability, and some other stuff I can't remember.

I wouldn't bother getting that on eBay when you can get this deal:

It'll play Xbox games as well as Xbox 360 games.

Many do and many don't. I got Halo2 but never tryed it in my 360. I know TOCA3 does not work on the 360.

but well worth getting it. its a great console and amazing online. I will get a PS3 when its out sometime next year but until then the 360 is recommended

It will basically play most of the old xbox games that haven't got a 360 specific version out yet. Funny that.

I bought one 2 weeks ago. I am very impressed with it! I got bored of waiting for the ps3. I could not work out whether I could not play old xbox games so thanks for clearing that up!

I bought one at the weekend, along with Test Drive unlimited, PGR3, Dead Rising and Ping pong...

... and I've since spent all weekend playing texas hold'em in the xbox arcade!
