Went round to my mates the other night to play a bit of dead rising, decided to download Rainbox Six Vegas while we were playing. I said to my mate you can't do that, when you download stuff you need the d/l screen to be on while its doing it.

'Ah thats all changed now, you can d/l stuff while doing other stuff!'

Fantastic, I said. So we start playing Dead Rising. Get to the end of it (What a crap ending I might add) and find out that 447mbs of Rainbox Six had downloaded in a little over 2 hours! Great we'll bang it on and check it out.

I'd seen the odd video of it here and there, but when I first saw it all I could think was WAWAWEEWA! It was stunning. I don't know if its the best game graphically, but it looked fantastic. My mate played it a few times, then I had a go, really really enjoyable. Absolutely loved it! It looked stunning, was enjoyable to play.

I loved it so much, I have decided that if my funds will allow, I'm going to get a 360 when Vegas comes out on 24th November!

There are a few games on the PC that should flick your switch then
if you like that.
They are even nicer to play with a mouse too imho.
Rainbow 6 lockdown was the last one i played, that looked fantastic.
Before that, SWAT 4 provided me with some decent fps thrills and spills.
Call of duty 2 (and soon 3) was also one of the most enjoyable games i
have ever played.

If you've got the time then sell all the games in seperate eBay auctions. I did this about 6 months ago and got over £150 for all my old PS2 games.

I'm sure the new Rainbow 6 allows you to take photos of your face if you have the vision camera and put your face in the game in multiplayer!

Looks ace. That and Gears of War are going to be bought when they are out!!

Strange...
I was trying to download NBK 2K7 (1GB download) and then thought i'd play some TDU. It instantly popped up with a message saying my download had stopped! Perhaps it's just TDU that it doesn't like.

Left NBA 2K7 and Rainbow Six Vegas to download last night. Didn't get a chance to check them out this morning but i'll have a play with them over the weekend.

You can't download and be playing online at the same time AFAIK- i.e. you can download a demo and play Call of Duty story mode in single player but if you go onto XBOX Live to play multiplayer it will stop downloading.

Just thought I'd let you all know, I've decided to get an xbox tomorrow.

Xbox premium, extra wireless controller and 2 games for £299. Good or what?
