I've had one of these on order for the last 6 weeks and I got fed up of waiting today. I called Logitech and apparently "something went wrong" with my order. It's the second time this has happened with them in two attempts.

So if you've ordered from them and not received your wheel yet, you should seriously consider giving them a call.

When Logitech said that I would need to cancel and re-order (presumably dropping to the end of the waiting list) I took pleasure in telling them I indeed would be happy to cancel but I would not be buying from them again.

I've gone the ebay route instead - thanks for the recommendation

Yes, I've used them before and would again as they're very reliable. But they don't have any left!

Oh yeah paperbag

Tell me when it arrives! Need the info on it!
And there is a mod to tighten up the gearstick, as a reliable source tells me it's complete and utter shite.

the pedals are amazing, the gear stick is fine, just not as good as the old GPL ones, but its certainly good enough for a bit of GTR / rFactor.

I seriously love this wheel. It doesnt feel like a toy like the DFP did.

I'll wait 'til I've got the cash, then hopefully it should be a bob or three less anyway!

Be interesting to know how it works exactly. There can't be a whole lot of games that support clutch and shifting. I know that TOCA 2 did it, so assume TOCA 3 does.

Would like to try one out.

Most accept a clutch, but I only know of one that doesn't actually allow a gear change unless the clutch is down.

Thing is, how many cars actually do in the sim? Most have sequential change so you wouldnt need a clutch of 6 speed box.

it's still handy for the start.

and also, for GPL, which is still the best I think!

(alongisde the 79 mod for rfactor... will have to see what that's like when it's done).
