Steam turning off pc ?

[Furyous]

Just downloaded Steam and ordered Counter Strike, which is downloading nicely.

If I open up the steam window to look at my account details, within 10 secs of closing the Steam window, my pc justs shuts down

Have I done something wrong or is there likey to be a deeper problem ?
