Nooooooooo - Dog Meat is dead. You may have been useless and disappeared to not return for an hour and then spontaneously died whilst waiting in safe location, but you were my virtual pet.
My thoughts are with you, I haven't met this dog character yet. Do you only get the one?

I got the declaration of independence last night from The National Archives, managed it all on my own too. Plasma rifle I got off harkness is the shizzle for melting people. Any good places to venture out and look for tonight when I get home from work?

Ok, so where is the best place to get this from, I'm sold on it from reading what you lot have to say about it
£29 at Sainsbos.

I swore I wouldn't buy this as I had bought Dead Space the week before, but it would have been rude not to at that price.

Find the Alien Blaster?? Best gun in the game albeit with very limited ammo!

I'm holding on to my BB gun for posterity's sake. Not interested in the Alien blaster, not really found any creature that is challenging me too much yet, got my plasma rifle and about 30 frag grenades so the Super Mutants are no match for me.
Has anyone blown up megaton yet? I'm holding off until I've completed the survival guide for Moira.

I'm stuck. I need to get permission to get trained in the power armour. I need to find a lab, someone called gunny / gurney and someone called lyon.

Help please.

I think there is someone called gunny at GNR radio HQ. I tried talking to him to get trained in power armour but he wouldn't and I can't remember why. Is it that good then?

You meet them later in the game when you get to the Citadel.

yup, it's sadly a later part of the story. The alien blasters' awesome though! 80 damage points per hit!! Found a pretty easy way (i think) around the limited ammo issue on the pc..;)

Yeah, it's awesome! I'm saving mine for when I get stuck although I did try it out on a group of Raiders, turned them all into little piles of ash! Got quite a good little arsenal building up now.

80 hit points? Pah, thats nothing. My Fatboy firing mini nukes is like 550 hit points or something.

Mole, Vault 106 is East of Vault 106? Not the best directions I have ever been given TBH. Is it worth visiting then?

Can you get back into Vault 101? I tried, and as I approached the alarms went of and the vault door swung shut, and then I went back later and it was still shut. Wondered if I could be the new overseer or something.....whistle

I'm in the citadel (I think). I've just been to see Three dogs after fighting with some super mutant thingy using mini-nukes.

Gotta find some more now, and they aren't cheap frown

On the plus side, it was a mutant in a burnt out container that I used it on and the explosion was AWESOME !!!

I'm gonna go and see if I can help Reilly's Rangers when I get back. Just sort of looking for places of interest really, cleared out loads of loot from the national archives though, watch out for the mines!!

What level is everyone up to now? I'm just shy of level 8 I think, seem to always struggle which perks to go for though. Still loving it.....

Just made it to level 6 last night after running to Rivet City and killing a super mutant for his minigun biggrin
I seem to have a terrible lack of money and ammo but I do have a house in Megaton.

I'm just up to level 13, have no money, but enough guns and ammo to arm a small country. It seems to be far too easy to kill things now. 2 shots with my combat shotgun will take out pretty much anything and a single headshot on a super mutant sees it's head flying straight off.

Out of interest does anyone now how to get into murder pass for vault 87? I cant find any way to open the gate. I attempted to massacre all the people but it won't let me kill them.

Found a sniper rifle hidden in a rock just south of megaton. Might come in handy, relatively easy to find too. I keep stumbling across running battles between mercs and super mutants, quite entertaining staying out of the way then sweeping up all the loot at the end.

I can't get to Reilly's Rangers ammo shack thing, its marked on my map as being on the far right about half way up, but I can't get anywhere near it, buildings and mounds of rubble in my way with no way past. Its an optional part of the mission, but I'm worried if I complete the main mission I won't get the achievement for getting there. Any idea's?
