smile I have an alt running SOE missions as well!

If you are in game now, join the 'SENX public' chat channel. There should be a recruiter on at this time to have an initial chat to, feel free to mention that you have been sent that way by Summer.

If not, pm Summer VonSturm in game, and I'll try and grab you whilst you are on to have a chat.
I'd bailed for the night by the time this was posted. I'll be around tonight, probably around 1930 Etime. Will look you guys up.

Are you fellas still running a corp, or you have been taken into CFC (not being a member of SA, I can't see my getting in there)?

I'm returning after a short break and now have a lot more time on my hands than I used to so am in the market for a decent corp.
You don't need to be a member of SA to get into the CFC... <insert recruitment scam here>

Also BURN JITA bhES!!!

I might be trying to get one of the gank fleets to go kill (and then pod) Gevlon Goblin's Orca that he's had sitting on the Perimeter gate for hours. It would be even sweeter if we all reshipped to noobships to do it wink

PL let themselves down this morning, dropping a bunch of supers and Archons in on our tower, to try and catch a couple of Red Alliance carriers, somehow failing to catch any of them
They left, so RED came back with carriers and dreads, PL didnt come back again despite the dreads being sieged. /facepalm.

It was a surprise seeing the second cyno going up, but our own tower going all Ghost in The Machine and blapping our own battleships didnt help the fight at all frown
Gotta love that POS code... /facedesk

If they have much better numbers - we concentrate on irregular warfare.

Yeah that was a letdown for sure, stupid bloody PL trying to hotdrop us again, Xandski, I'm holding you entirely responsible for PL being dicks in my space.
Just link this in local...

...and remind them of the fun times that were had by all (in the CFC) in B-R. Also Armor HACS!!!

So I'm sneaking up on flying a tengu... questions from someone who has never flown a t3...

can you carry enough subsystems in cargo to say have a travel fit for exploration, but then drop a mobile depot and then swap out subsystems to run it?

Should I wait till I have all subsystems at V before hopping in it?

I'd say fly at L4 but don't change your plan and get them all to L5 whilst you're flying it. This is especially the case in gang boats. Also consider implants as they make a massive difference in T3 hulls IMO

Never hotswapped modules as only use them as gang/fleet boats so can't comment I'm afraid

They have their weaknesses though - if you can keep them busy and manage to get a brawler close, they can take them apart.

I was roaming in my (predictable) SFI not long a go and came across 3 solo Ishtars on various gates and they all ran. I guess they couldn't dictate range.

Yeh, thinking about trying to use them on my sniping BMs that I have set up on drag bubbles. There's range dication by default pretty much.

Still, lots to look forward to from what I saw of the Fanfest stream, the new Mordus ships look pretty good, though my missile skills are dire. The covops capable mining frigate is going to upset a few people for sure.
I'm already training Mining Frigate 5 on one of my pubbie cyno alts. I can see it causing havoc in renter/low-sec alliance mining ops. Remember everyone, train Scout and Combat drone operation to 5 to take full advantage of the drone skill split.

Where do you guys get your GTCs or PLEX from? Or are you all rolling in it and making enough ISK in-game?

My sub is going to run out soon and I'm a bit skint. I have struggled to make ends meet in-game so far (about 4 months in) so I'm considering just quitting alltogether frown It's been fun, but frustrating too. Due to limited play time, I've spent a hell of a lot of time just training skills. I have yet to actually get in any real PVP action except trailing huge fleets (I'm in BNI) as fast tackle, fun, but not fulfilling. Now we're in null, things may change but I dunno. Tried various methods for ISK making, none have been very successful!

Guess this happens to a lot of people with EVE....

I just sub on a 3 monthly thing, and scrape by on whatever I can find. I RARELY have more than 100 mill in the bank, unless I'm saving for something. Have you thought of trying trading? I was hopeless at it, but you might have a talent for it. For me, mixture of ratting/exploration (mostly exploration atm) and some Missions, when I can be arsed. They are pretty dull. If you're moving into null, encourage your lot to do some combat sites, they can be quite lucrative.

Good job by Tonsko, acting as the bait in a hot drop sting, especially as it was his first time. Great fun listening in on comms as it all developed and unfolded, and happy to get on the killmail.

p.s. If you don't mention about leaving the cyno auto-repeat switched on, and having to wait out another 10 minutes, I won't mention it either.

It was great fun smile

For money making, I often do L4 missions, not exactly the jackpot but steady income.

That's not an overly new thing - well, killing 7 baby titans is, but teaching your renters a lesson isn't new.

I had fun on Ganked at the weekend; we started early, with an Amarr Armour BC-down roam prior to the Aeon event, I missed most of that but joined up in time to get involved in the system where the Aeon was. We were in trouble as soon as PL dropped their Napocs so we fought a few of the other groups in there including the Red Alliance Nagas. We decided to evac and on the way back, fought the Nagas again and got some good kills.

Having shipped down to cruisers and collected the latecomers, we headed out for an arranged fight with the minmatar militia, which was kind of a rollover as we massively outnumbered them. Apparently PL did attempt to spoil that one too although the militia were smart and had invited us to fight in a medium outpost, so PL were left on the gate. This did mean that the milita couldn't reship, though; had they been able to do that it would have been a much longer and better fight for both sides. :shakes fist at PL:

After this an off-the-cuff comment turned into a bit of an event. We took our Amarr gang and escorted a Providence full of slaves into Providence via Misaba. Surprised at the lack of reaction, we kind of mooched around in Provi for a while, and then into Catch, before deciding to pay our "friends" in Brave Newbies a visit. We arranged our Provi docking rights, where he put the 176,000 slaves on the market ("A slave for every Brave!"), and we left to head back to whelp at HED-GP, which we did (mostly) successfully, although we did lose the freighter eventually to the Provi block Tier 3 BC gang who had managed to venture as far out as 36N in Catch. Basically the hilarity of it all was totally worth it, I got 39 kills into the bargain. I may have inadvertently volunteered to provide the Fenrir to fly back out there when the market order expires to "liberate" them...

We could only assume people were being kicked out of intel channels for being spies when they reported us ...

"Hey guys, this sounds ridiculous but I swear it's totally legit, there's a Providence being escorted by 150 cruiser-down Amarr ships here"
"Where?"
"Just into Providence from R3-"
"Wait... is it a Providence, or is it *in* Providence?"
"It's a Providence, in Providence"
"Quit yer trollin"
"No no, really, it is"

Well, it seemed funny to us at the time getmecoat
