It's a pretty steep learning curve, but I guess the amount of content is what has given Eve the longevity it has enjoyed since it was published.

Still at least 2016 KB will look ok!

Ouch, that's an expensive loss. And I was getting pee'd off because I lost 4 bombers over the last few days.

Apparently, RvB is dead. RIP.

Still around wink

Myself and Mandown are on regularly.

I started up again in 2013, when he started playing, I think he's stayed subbed since and I returned a year ago and have been playing the whole time

Quite enjoying exploration at the moment, not making any money, but I have heard its a bit hit and miss.

Thought it would be fun taking on a pack of Drifters in my shiny new L4 running Nightmare.

I lasted about 15 seconds.

I had also forgotten to insure it.

Oh well. Important lesson learned.

Tempted by joining Wingspan, looks like stupid fun without much commitment and I am loving Covops.

Have to say that Wingspan do put out some fun looking videos on Youtube. My own corp seems to have taken a back seat lately. Most times I log on there are very few of them about and not much seems to be happening lately.

It blows in highsec, and low is pretty risky.
The best money from exploring comes in wormholes and nullsec. You can make a decent amount if you are careful.

I still play, though working a new job has hit my playtime pretty hard frown
Somehow I'm now the proud owner of a Nyx and an Erebus too, though I have a feeling I;ll never get to use them in anger. smile
I can remember the early days of Titans, back when there was only a few in the game. My corp was running a small gang and got hot dropped by a mothership, just after they had entered the game. Foolishly we thought 8 HACs and a couple of tackle stood a chance to make our name and get the first mothership kill......nope!

Whats the current real life value of an Erebus?

Presumably that would have been "The Establishment"'s Nyx; that was one of the most widely deployed motherships in the game, and probably one of the most riskily deployed ones as well as they weren't a big organisation and a counter-drop would have been nasty for them. Always respected them for the way they used that.

I'm in Wingspan now. And its rather good fun. Only got one kill but give that happen within about 2 hours of joining I will take that.

There are not so much of the big battles we used to have with Senex, but bopping around in a cloaky, then springing a trap on someone is bloody good fun.

As Senex was my first proper corp, and I have had a lot of fun with them in the past, I kind of have an affinity for them, and I suppose a loyalty. It would seem strange to leave them after this length of time, but at the moment they are not providing much by the way of content and I find that I am not playing Eve so much as a result.

That rings a bell but also thought it may have been linked to Mercenary Coalition when they were in their pomp.

Got a few more kills with them last night, including my first ever final blow.

Was on a pod though, so no kill mark.

Sadly he had an entirely empty head.

One of the risks of WH space I guess.

I did notice you guys had moved on from OSS, what was the reasoning for that?

I've just moved on from euni as well, to join some other friends in sniggwaffe. Should be good.
